Just wanted to check in with all of the guys from the midwest. The storms look horrific and I wanted to see if all of you are ok.

my family is good, and everyone I know in Joplin made it out ok but they are going through another tornado warning right now please pray for them

Great to hear that your family and friends are all OK.

CNN said the warning was lifted in Joplin, for now anyway.
I hope the weather cooperates over the next couple days so they can keep searching for missing people.

It's just awful. I'm praying for everyone.

I know a guy (T. Rob Brown) who lost his home and most of his possessions--including a gaming library with a complete set of SW RPG books--in that tornado that cut through Joplin. He and his family survived unharmed, but they lost nearly everything. I can barely imagine that level of devastation.

Celticindian: thanks for asking, all safe here, but emotionally and physically drained for seeing the devestation and helping with the recovery and donation center.

Chase: good to hear that your ok man, heard about the one that went through Ok the days following. I was actually in Joplin at the time. It turns out that I was probably one of the last 15 to 20 costumers at the rangeline wendys. I had Tristan and Wyatt with me. found out that it hit the west side when I was getting on the highway going towards Carthage...didnt know about it til I walked in the door though, didnt have the radio on and it was to stormy to tell that anything was happening. Never heard the sirens or anything. Was kinda dazed mentally for a couple of days afterwards, with the worry about having the boys with me and being that close. And marilyn isnt helping things...she keeps telling everyone to shut up about it its not important because it didnt effect us...
