If you need a room for GenCon, or want to upgrade - let me know.
My group of 4 guys ended up with 2 rooms, and we're gonna go into just 1. If you have tried to get a room in the GenCon housing block, you know how tough it can be. We were determined to get a room at one of the two hotels attached to the convention center, and we succeeded in getting one room in each!
Well rather than simply canceling one - we decided to keep them and let someone in the SWM community get in on one of the highly sought after rooms. They are luxury rooms, and since we got them through the GenCon housing block, they are discounted. They are about the rate that budget hotels much further away normally are.
We have the extra room for all 4 nights (Wed Aug 3-Sat Aug 6), check out on Sun Aug 7th. If you put 4 people into the room then it is only $55 per person per night. Can't beat that!
