Can someone post the full text of tactics broker?

Somehow, I cannot find it anywhere on this site.

Hmm...strange that you cannot find it....oh wait...nevermind. ;)

Here ya go:
Tactics Broker : Once per round before initiative is determined, if this character is in yoru squad, choose one other character in your squad. Remove the chosen character from play (It counts as defeated) and choose an opponent. That opponent's initiative check result is automatically 1. If a tie requires rerolling initiative, this ability cannot be used again for tie-breaking.

And these reasons (kill your own figs, San Hill) are why the MTB will be in squads for about a week and then they will be brought in by Lobot only when facing Thrawn or Revan.

I already decided to do that.

And I just played against one on Vassal. That reinforced my opinion.

But one other thing - he could also be brought in against Kazdan.

The MTB is the best weapon against master tactcian, and Kazdan, although I doubt Kazdan will be competative, regardless of the MTB. The muun is a very good figure, with obvious drawbacks.

The MTB is a very good weapon against Master Tactician, but I'm not sure it is the best. I think the Rogue might have something to say about that, or your own figure with MT.

So here's a question - will Han, Rogue and NTMTO completely cancel Tactics Broker SA, or will it still require the Tactics Broker to sacrifice a figure but not affect the roll result?

I hope for the latter, but I susupect it will be the former.

Well, if I was a rules lawyer, I would argue that Never Tell Me the Odds specifically states that abilities that modify initiative have no effect.

That means that the ABILITY still exists, it just will not have the desired effect.

Thus, they could sacrifice a character, but it would not do anything. Of course, this is likely to work only once.

Only in Reinforcements, sure. Only against Master Tact, highly doubtful, since it is nearly as good as Master Tact.

I disagree with it being as good at MT, sinc it has the drawback of one of your figs die each round.

Nope, 'Tactics Broker' is the ability that is suppressed; the whole thing, not just the parts you like. Part of it is initialtive control, the other part is sacrifice a character; all in the same suppressed Special Ability.
