We've got a bunch of good 8 point characters these days. Who do you think is the best?

EDIT____________________________________
Just post that you vote for Obi, Jedi Spirit if that's who you want to vote for, since I forgot to put him on the poll.

My vote is going to go to someone not on the list...

Obi-Wan, Force Spirit. (Where's the love?!)

I think Mas has had the greatest impact on squad builds and strategy. The MTB might have a bigger impact being Fringe, but only time will tell.

Well the best really depends on your faction, Mas for Imps but if your Rebel then Juno/R2-d2.
MTB is not a figure i would use myself but will be interesting to see how others use him.
I wonder if you use him in the rebel faction and have Leia Hoth Commander can you still roll a save of 16 if you choose to have a non unique rebel as your sacrificed piece? It would make him more useful.
What do you think? ( i can't see why not)

Mas is probably the most valuable 8 pt. figure there is. Booming Voice is so vital in many republic and imperial squads.

I had to vote Mas, Wicket came in a close second but you just can't beat unlimited range CE's for all.

Exactly the same reasoning behind my vote.

Wicket is still pretty cool though. :D

Yes he is I like the creative and fun stats they are coming out with that are specific to certain characters. Although I think a few more figs could use quick reactions *cough* Anakin *cough*.

I voted for R2-D2.
It was a choice between him and Wicket for me. Mas to me is one of the worst pieces in the game. Wicket is great, it's fun to see your opponents pieces seriously weaken thanks to an Ewok.

Although R2 is not quite as good as his 9pt Republic version he's still one of the the few Rebel Storm minis that still sees regular play, and for good reason.

Mas has a hard counter in disruptive although he is a great piece.
Override is not the be all and end all anymore.

Wicket is just phenomenal in the scope of characters he helps out (read virtually everyone) so he got my vote.

Had to think a bit though.

I also really like Wicket. Increasing the odds of hitting for 8 pts. is one of the cheapest, best things in the game.

Wicket, that +4 attack can go a long ways.

Plus, I don't play Republic or Imperial.

I went with Mas - spreading CEs is too valuable and Wicket being within 6 is too vulnerable.

In my experience, yes!

I've played him the most with Nom; something about an exploding Teddy that just amuses the crap out of me :D

I went with Mas, but only because I could be wrong about the broker.
