1. There are no new Force abilities in this set.
2. Savages learn how to ignore Diplomat.
3. This set was originally called Masters of the Universe.
4. A famous Dynamic Duo returns.
5. Soresu Style Mastery makes a return.
6. No new troopers.
7. 3 more unique one-shot characters from the WotC-produced game get an overhaul this time (like Ki-Adi-Mundi did in DotF).
8. Rebels get a tow cable.
9. Stormtrooper Rookie, yeah it's real.
10. And so is Gary the Stormtrooper (he has an ability called Take Your Daughter to Work Day).

Also, don't trust the numbers in the title. It is April Fool's Day, after all. :)

1) I wouldn't be surprised
2) don't be a tease!
3) lol
4) Itchy and Scratchy?
5) works for me
6) = angry mob, replete with pitchforks, torches etc
7) this I believe (Mon Mothma, Nien Numb, Corran Horn? - not holding my breath for a new Dr. Evazan :( )
8) see #6, at least an order of magnitude larger
9) I think you meant to say, "with" Rookie
10) I can't wait to see the stats for the daughter

:D

Nothing compared to Yarael Poof's Pizza Delivery and Yoda Impression abilities.

My guesses:
1. F I'm surprised you didn't say that one figure gets all the new ones
2. T in the way you meant; they won't really ignore them, they will eat them
3. F He-Man told me not to trust you
4. T no set would be complete without Chip 'n Dale
5. F you made everyone cringe just by putting that in there
6. F CHiP are troopers, right?
7. T but I thought the Jawa on Ronto was already da bomb
8. F you made everyone cringe just by putting that in there
9. T see, you already spoiled your own #6
10.F it's Tim the Stormtrooper taking his son to work

False, because you're trying to through us off ... but by telling us to not trust the title, you're telling us the truth ... which makes the title ... ewwwww, my head hurts now. Hulk smash you.

I'm pretty sure 4 of them are true, and another one is kinda true, but sort of not true...

I can only hope and pray that we get Gary.

1. T - I think Force abilities turned out to be stronger than expected, this wouldn't surprise me
2. T - Because it would just wrong to taunt. A Rakghoul boost for Celeste Morne?
3. F - Because we don't have a proxy Skeletor.
4. F - That could mean anything, but I'm not expecting Batman & Robin
5. F - Dear god no.
6. F - Because I'm calling Stormtrooper Rookie!
7. T - Just a matter of getting the number right.
8. T - Luke with Tow Cable for the Death Star chasm scene anyone? It's not unthinkable, especially without Flight and using up the use of a major Rebel character. Certainly no worse than being able to grant Evade / GMA to any follower
9. T - Don't see why not, it worked for SWCCG.
10. F - Although it'd be cool.

And that happens to be 5 trues and 5 falses (without trying to make that happen). So we'll see how I did :)

It means there there are not 5 true and 5 false statements. I believe the breakdown is more like 6 and 4.

Okay, so here is a slight tease. Congrats to those who got the closest.

Grand Moff Boris wrote:
1. There are no new Force abilities in this set.

True. The design team for this set decided to let Force abilities set idle this go-round while we watched to see how they were taken. There have been some complaints about Atris' Force Meditation, but nothing completely unexpected. She operates very much as anticipated, and the squads that have used her have not done so with overwhelming success. I fully expect to see Force abilities make a return in a future set. It is, after all, the very heart of the flavor of the Old Republic era.

Quote:
2. Savages learn how to ignore Diplomat.

True. This is something that was asked for, and credit to Bill for coming up with a clever idea that addresses in it a way that doesn't break the strategy of using Diplomats.

Quote:
3. This set was originally called Masters of the Universe.

False. I don't think there was any doubt about this one.

Quote:
4. A famous Dynamic Duo returns.

True. There is a piece in this set that is actually 2 characters, and it is a twist on something that already exists in plastic form.

Quote:
5. Soresu Style Mastery makes a return.

Ummm, true. I know this is not a popular decision, but it's the flavor of the character and to do the piece correctly, that fact just can't be ignored. But don't worry. She's costed completely on her Soresu ability, and she doesn't have Mettle. (Did I say she? Oops.) :)

Quote:
6. No new troopers.

False. I hope this one was as obvious as that Masters of the Universe statement.

Quote:
7. 3 more unique one-shot characters from the WotC-produced game get an overhaul this time (like Ki-Adi-Mundi did in DotF).

True. Statement: 2 are (mostly) Old Republic, and the third is Fringe..

Quote:
8. Rebels get a tow cable.

True They don't get Tow Cable, but they get the concept in a slightly lesser version. It's balanced by the fact that you can't use it and a beatstick Luke in the same squad. (Take that for what it's worth.)

Quote:
9. Stormtrooper Rookie, yeah it's real.
10. And so is Gary the Stormtrooper (he has an ability called Take Your Daughter to Work Day).

Both of these are False, but I wouldn't count Gary the Stormtrooper out just yet. :)

Would it be reasonable to suggest that there could be new Force Powers?

Force powers and Force abilities are not the same thing.
