Hello SWMGamers, It's been a while! For those who don't know me, I was a very avid player of SWM a couple years ago and was a regular poster around here. I really loved my time with SWM and still have all of my minis! (Even busted out a game somewhat recently!) I'm actually a solo ukulele instrumentalist and to be honest, I stopped playing SWM because my opportunities with this instrument really took off for me. My website www.thejumpingflea.com got it's start from the screen name I made here! (Uku means Flea and lele means to jump!) The reason I am posting this is to share a link with you guys. I've recently been nominated for an award; Best Ukulele Instrumental of 2010. It's for a video called "Bodysurfing". You now lead. Once you have this award sealed up, you can celebrate with some gaming.  You've been missed.For the newer members, Flea was a really strong online player in the game's earlier days. If I recall, he won one of the highly-competitive single-elim Vassal tourneys we ran. |

And part of the Jango Trio way back when . He also had a strong hand in helping me flesh out the changes to Han Cannon post TFU morphing into the "Speedy Cannon" that everyone came to love or hate. Glad to see the Uke playing is working out so well for ya, but seriously, time to get back into playing SWs games too buddy!

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here on SWMGamers that voted! The had an awards show yesterday and I learned that I won the award for Best Ukulele Instrumental of 2010! Thanks so much for all your support and for keeping this game that has been such a big part of my life going strong. May the force be with you. (And a very happy Easter as well!) |
