OMG!!!!!!!!

Now the Rebels can get double Disruptive, definitely going to be a power piece. She's a Rare, right...Darn, the picture I have doesn't show her rarity, hope she's a Rare

Wow, it really is double "meh".

8pt Disruptive is nice, but the Rebels already had R2PO so it's not really granting them any new capabilities. Great if you can't fit in R2PO, you can even think about running Juno + RS R2 for Disruptive and Override and saving 2pts.

Star Destroyer Officer is really like half a preview, I feel cheated. I smell alot more Piett in future.

Both are pretty average and do more to offset the Powercreep moaning. Not that I'm bemoaning average, I can see both of these being included in squads, especially an 8pt Disruptive.

Both are very nice figures. I want several of each for Role-Playing.

i think Juno is a huge addition.

the cheapest accurate shooter in the game
the cheapest disruptive in the game

she might actually force ephant mon out of the box.

Helps L/Y out because of her cheap disruptive. This also goes for Luke CoTF who struggled to add disruptive because of his cost.

A lot of HP for 8 points also.

The oficer is bolocks unless the imperials have great navy troopers.

Wow....I'm disappointed by this one. It's like they needed to put her in the miniatures set and had no idea whatsoever what to do with her stats. I'm going to be really disappointed down the line if she's that lame in the video game.

Sure, 8 pt disruptive is nice, and the Accurate Shot is cool too, but honestly, how often is she going to sit still to use Careful? And there are only 5 pieces with lower defense then 13.

LOL, have to concur on the 'half preview' thing, lol. He's pretty boring for the most part himself. But at 12 points, that's a pretty decent boost. Better hope the Imp Navy Troopers are decent enough to run entire swarms with just them. Otherwise I'd much rather take an Elite Snowtrooper for the same number of points.

Her & r2 at 2 pts cheaper than r2p0? I think I'd rather stick with R2P0: better defense, similar HP, ability to regen (& be repaired by Chewie RH). With 13 def I think she's just too easy a target and will die too quickly to make use of distruptive.

SDO is a nice trick. I'm really curious to see the stats on the navy troopers. An officer, Vader IC, Piett, and the troopers could be very interesting.

While Juno isn't a "Wow" piece, she certainly will see some play.

Some day there will be a "Rebel Reserves 20" piece, and when that day comes the 8 point disrupter will be in that toolbox.

In the meantime, she's "If you have accurate shot, shoot me"

Which isn't all that bad for 8 points.

Juno is an amazing piece. 8 point disruptive is just plain too easy to toss into your army. Maybe you won't fight CE's, so you don't want to waste the points on R2-C3P0, but 8 points? Yeah, I will run that just in case you face some wacky CE based army (like all my melee hordes).

The implications of double disruptive is even more intriguing. Keep R2 further back (within 6 of Juno) and keep B&B further at bay, or whatever the CE based army is.

I dunno if I like it, not from a powercreep level, but from the further rift of commanders + followers to just plain beatsticks of some kind. My beloved hordes have been on the way out for a while now, and this just further kills em. This is not an objective statement, it is highly subjective as I love playing CE's + grunts.

Not bad pieces, but no real ground being broken I think.

With Juno, I don't know how usefull accurate shot is to a piece with 40 HPs, and the same goes for disruptive,at 40 hps she won't last that long that close to enemy commanders. But nontheless, quite a steal at 8 points.

Imperial Navy Commander, just a garden variety middle manager. I have a feeling there going to beneift form Adm. Ozzl somehow

Both Pieces are good filler. No complaints here.

I am fine with Juno. 8 points of Accurate and Disruptive could be useful. Not a great preview, but OK

As for the Star Destroyer Officer - Not too exciting unless the Naval Trooper is good. Terrible preview, like getting a Snowtrooper preview.

Juno's going into all my Rebel builds. For 8 points you get Accurate Shot and Disruptive and 40 HP on a Rebel follower. That's incredible! She has the same HP and Defense as Clone Commander Gree (who costs 18 points). She's a throw in at the end of your squad that can actually do some decent stuff (think Wicket). She's subject to some awesome commander effects. Maybe Vader's Apprentice, Redeemed will do something to boost her, too. Juno is an all around decent piece--for 8 points!!!

I don't think she's broken, but she's hardly "meh" either. I predict that once the meta settles down, we'll see her in play more at tournaments than Darth Revan, simply because that she's cheap, she's useful, and she has great faction support (Revan only scores 1 out of 3 there).

I don't think the Star Destroyer Officer is that bad. He can benefit from A&E Tarkin for an extra attack and will bring in the Navy Troopers for a change from always running stormies. May not rock the meta world, but good for scenarios. May do well with Ozzel, too. As far as the preview, didn't anyone else notice the tidbit about the Navy Troopers:

Quote:
"Therefore, this piece is best deployed in support of Imperial Navy Troopers, especially when used in combination with the troopers' synchronized fire ability, giving them extra chances to use their bonuses to combine fire."

Looks like they will have a +6 for combined fire like the SBD - if it works the same this time. A bit more to add to the 'half' preview.

I'm liking the Juno option for Rebels as well - very situational figure, but cheap enough to throw in especially for 150 or more squads.[/quote]

Okay, I know it is going to happen so many times, so I'll just get it off of my chest right now for all of eternity.
--"Why isn't Juno a pilot?"
--"Is Juno supposed to be a pilot?"
--"Why was the Pilot Special Ability left of off Juno's card?"
--"Will we expect errata on Juno to be a pilot?"

Did I forget any? Okay, now that I got that out of the way.

I guess I'm like most everyone else. These two pieces are okay, but nothing game breaking. Sorry, I'd rather take Wicket and R2-P0 than Juno and whatever.

For everyone thinking that Ozzel will help out the Officer and his pals, well, we'll all have to see about that.

Indirectly only. And then only with the help of another guy.

Juno is a bit of a dissapointment. She was my top "wanting to know her stats."

She'll go down fast and hard unless you hide somewhere in a closet, and then she's just useless. Han with Princess Leia can take her down with one shot.

For someone possibly instrumental in redeeming Vader's Apprentice, I was kind of hoping for something more.

Still, she has Accurate and Disruptive, which are both good. And she's only 8 points. Much easier to take her loss than Zuckuss at 22 points.

The commander looks good, if you want to build a squad around the Navy Troopers, which, of course, we have no idea what they are like.

Not ground breaking pieces by any means, but they should see play. And that is what's good about them.
