When the Trade Federation invaded the planet of Naboo, they were sure it was going to be a successful business venture. They never expected the resilience of the Queen Amidala, the Force abilities of Young Anakin Skywalker, or the Grand Army of the Gungans to thwart all of their plans. The Battle of Theed Palace Battle Pack set is a re-enactment of that small, but Galactic-imacting, event for use with the Star Wars Miniatures game. This small set of ten new stat cards is a way to enhance your squads with characters representing that first major skirmish in the legacy of Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. As with other sets we have released, this set will need a great logo for display. Do you have the artistic skills necessary? Please show us what you can do to bring "The Battle of Theed Palace" to visual life! |

No artistic skills, but i would like to point out that this is awesome. Kotor was great for Ep I fans like me (all 6 of us from what I hear lol), and it's awesome to get more of it, and likely useful stuff too. |

Wow this is exciting news! I hope we will see an updated Flash Speeder and the Naboo Soldiers. Hand Maidens would be cool as well. For the set icon, what about a Darth Maul head? We've had so many of the iconic helmets/faces in the WOTC sets, so this would fit in nicely. My artistic skills are nothing to brag about either, but i just dug up these samples on the web.

I have a few REAL ideas. Give me a few days. I am just going to work on the words than try and draw up something since I dont really know all the characters that are in the set. I would like to draw up a cartoon of some type but I want to play it save. |

I think a Nute Gunray head tilted confusedly to the side would make a good logo, especially if there is a Nute with Sith Maul/Sid affinity (dare to dream  ) I'm not sure if the size of the logo would lend itself well to portraying facial expressions, especially from neimoidians.

a new version of Panaka would be cool. THe old one is good but there are other routs you could go. AAT's would be awsome, and a redux of the Flash Speederr would be cool too, maybe something like LT. Sykes's FLash Speeder would be cool. Battle Droid on HEavy STAP would be cool too. MAybe a little higher attack or speed, but with the same damage. |

Re-boot Obi Padawan, "Impulsive X when a Unique Allies dies" Qui Gon Synergy +4 defense when in 6 squares of Obi-Wan A good rethink on Maul, his lightsaber style, GMA, saves 11 for AO against him. Padme with booster abilities and Commander Effect for Naboo troops. A Padme decoy who gains the same abilities/commander effect as any Real Padme who is in play, but loses them if the real padme dies. eg Queens Decoy (For the rest of the skirmish this character gains all the Special Abilities and Commander Effects of an allied character named Amidala. If that character is defeated this character loses Queens Decoy) Boss Nass Ani and artoo, uugh, it would have to be done to be in keeping with The Battle of Theed |

I always imagine this conversation when I see it. "Remember, we only fire once." "But sir, this is a powerful rotating blaster cannon, we can target all the droids we want!" "No, we fire it once, haphazardly, then quickly speed away." "Sir?" "ONCE I TELL YOU!!! Then Speed away." |
