I know it is apparently blasphemy to be excited about one of the core factions.
But I am. Even moreso than Alliance & Empire. Kota has me intrigued, and I really want to see Luke and Obi Unleashed (I love Rebel Obi's, Alec Guinness FTW).

After seeing the beats the rebels are getting, I'm getting really excited to see Vader's apprentice, Redeemed. What kind of stuff do you think he'll have? Do you think he'll be compatable with Luke and Yoda, or do you think he'll need Yoda of Dagobah for a force battery? Does anyone forsee a Luke w/ Yoda, Obi-Wan (maybe even unleashed depending on what he's got. I'm hoping for a beast with force spirit), VSA redeemed combo? |

I really wish i could play rebels better. They just are not very nice to me. :/ Maybe with the new sabers that are coming, i can play them more like the Republic jedi i am used to. There should be some kool combos. |

I love playing the Rebels. I win a lot more with them than almost anyone. And I can't wait to see VA, Redeemed. I bet he has some sort of Force Push. and with all the Renewal being spread around, probably that also. |

I bet that Juno Eclipse can't be attacked by Vader's Apprentice. I'm really looking forward to all the Rebels, can't wait, almost 2 weeks!!!!!

My first thought when I saw the Luke/Yoda preview was "I wonder how this will be with Obi Unleashed and VA Redeemed?" I am really looking forward to Obi Unleashed. (I just hope he doen't turn out to be a bad piece.) |

Hahaha, I used to be the same way. I think since we got Luke COTF in A&E my Rebel skills have improved some. But I've always preferred the melee pieces over ranged. Somehow, I really suck at rolling, so the higher attack values, plus benefit of no cover with Melee attacks, means I am more happy more often because more of my attacks actually hit. We got a beatstick Luke last set, it'd be cool if Obi Unleashed is a good beatstick that you could pair with Luke&Yoda. Then you can let L&Y be the Force Support and let Obi go to work on people, instead of the other way around right now. |

I just can't see old man Obi being a beatstick. I hope I am wrong, but think he will be more of a protector with lots of Force abilities and renewal. Maybe some rapport or synergy with the Luke figures. The Rebels have always always been my favorite faction. I'm glad to see a bit more variety of playable figures this time around. The Han figures, etc. are always great, but you can only play one. Now the combinations are becoming greater and still can be competitive. |
