Shipping bulk paper (or in this case, cards) is one of the few ways you actually come out ahead on Priority Mail flat-rate, as long as you're packing the box as full as possible.

I once had to send a bunch of comics and realized that sending the comics in two medium-sized flat rate boxes was actually less expensive than putting them together in one larger box. You might want to see if that's an option when sending out of country.

I know the feeling. I have so many cards, and never use or even look at them. It's ridiculous.
