Looks like this is getting shut down at the source finally. I'm surprised it took them this long.

Notice the Affinity on Master Kota for Republic!

Well, I don't really see why they would shut down these pictures. They are obviously photos that someone took of the boosters themselves which were on display at the Reunion II convention in France. If the boosters were on display, then it doesn't make any sense for WotC to be fussy about the stats/images getting leaked.

I saved the files too and will upload them to my photobucket account.

Aren't the sides of the boosters always the same? I think just the artwork on the front is different, but the images/cards on the sides and back are always the same.

Wow! Luke with Yoda just may be my new favorite mini. Wow!

Did I say, "Wow!"?

The rest look good too, but Luke is just, "Wow!"

This is shaping up to be one great set!

Having not seen the remainder of the set I'm not sure if Luke is worth 70 pts.

All the powers are good, but he is set up to work against people with force powers.

Melee, Twin, that's fine.

Canceling every time is nice, but I'm not sure its 70 points nice.

i can do the same thing with Yoda of D. Alter, Stun and Defense

I can still play Luke Champion and actually attack, that combo is only 15 points more than this piece, its another activation (which helps balance the extra cost) and it does dmg.

Its a cool fig and I'm sure there's a place for it in a squad, but 70 pts?

Its a little high for a fig that can barely cause dmg.

He needs to be able to share his force, he'll still see play, but not as much as if he could share his force with others. Then he would be an off-the-wall force sink.

This is madness
Madness?!?!?!?
THIS IS FU!!!!!!!!!!

Those were also my thoughts about the Luke COTF & YoD - for a few points more I can get much better melee combat, and a force battery for Luke to use with UTF if there's not a lot of force powers being thrown around to cancel. Just not enough damage output for 70 points for my taste.

The wording of Kotas' affinity makes me wonder if we're eventually going to see clones that do not have Order 66, the ones that didn't obey.

It's quite obvious that Force Push 3 says 'replaces turn'. I think it will be very dependent on how Force Push works, but if you are able to immediately defeat characters (or even just do extra damage) by pushing them into pits or walls, then it's quite possible that Luke's 70 pt cost is padded because of the deadliness of that ability.

And if he does have Master of the Force 2 or 3, then being a character that can get involved in a fight, and re-roll twice, or still use Force Stun twice after making the attacks is pretty huge. This is a Luke piece that will be able to get into the middle of a fight, hold his own, and help the rest of the people in the middle hold their own as well.

In the 150 release events, that Force Defense is going to be huge. He'll beat the tar out of figures like Vader Unleashed or Apprentice Unleashed. I think even Revan may be frustrating to use against Luke.

Well, I think the wording just says "May be in a Republic squad that does not contain any characters with Order 66." Nothing about Clones specifically. Sure, we might get some clones without O66 at some point, but I kind of doubt it. Although, I can't think of anything else that would have the Order 66 SA other than clones. But I REALLY like that aspect of Kota's abilities. It's a perfect way to represent him.

I am pretty sure he has MotF 3 by the look of the card. Why would Yoda not?

I can see Han ST running him up so he can twin and possibly stun. He is safe from any shooters with his reflect (keep in mind by waiting a couple round to engage, you will need a D20 for force points) You win you can stun and or possibly force push if people are near. Leia can then give him another huge twin.

I see him being exactly like revan in that for the points he is going to be solid but extremely hard to play effectively. Those that learn how will do very well with him.

Master Kota -23 D?!??! Damn. Beast, however that CE better be good cos at 55 points he doesn't llok to have much even with force repulse.

Golem - cool enough, nice addition for Kazdan, Seperatists and Revan. A nice ambushing fig for him to run around. Gets the intuition and +4 attack from Revans CE too.

Spider - looks to be another standard Savage. Doubt it will be any better than the rancor/acklay but you never know. There is one ability that is obscured (between melee reach and quadruple attack)

Luke + Yoda - nice fig. Expensive but that is one serious force user. MAster of the force, renewal 3!!!! Oof. A follower also and thus applicable to all those great CE's like han's, leias etc. If thats master of the force 3 he also has a form of master speed, push looks like it could be game changing. What an interesting fig. Very impressed.

A great counter to Boba BH with alter/stun/reflect and push.

I'm about 90% positive that it's Melee Reach 2. You can see the top part of the first letter of the ability name, and it could easily be an M. You can also see the letters "way as adj" which is probably "away as adjacent", or "2 squares away as adjacent". With those big long legs, and the tendency of a lot of other Savages to have MR2, it seems like a good fit to me.

Woah....I didn't even think about that. That WOULD be really cool. Unique Jedi Followers gain Double or Twin Attack? :P

I wonder if we'll eventually get a piece with Melee Reach 3.

Well, I just added another case to my pre-order.

I really like all 4 pieces.

I've got 3 cases coming. And now I'm wishing I had more.

Can't afford any more though.

I just finally placed the pre-order for my cases. Well, my online pre-order for 2 case. I'm getting a 3rd one at my LGS, but I didn't get paid till this weekend, so I couldn't order the online ones till now. :D

I think with 3 cases, and 2 release events the weekend it comes out, I should be in good shape.

Well, with all the unfortunate circumstances which have recently occured, I am getting no full cases. I will be playing in a Release Tourney, and praying very hard for good pulls, bad opponents, and many many prizes!

Intresting previews.

Luke is subpar. If he were ranged or had some other damaging abiltity, he would be alright. But by himself, he kinda sucks. We'll see what else the set has to offer before I make any finial judgements.

General Kota is intresting, but only seems to have double, affinity, his CE and what looks like repulse as his only force ability. Mabe the last two will make him really shine, but as is he's subpar without knowing what repulse or his CE does.

The junk golem is actually really good, and I'm impressed. Sheilds 1, speed 8, double attack, ambush, and at least splash 10 for 23 points is pretty darn good, especailly when you can summon one next to Kazdan Paratus and two battle droids.

The spider is intresting, and is basically a more playable ackalay, although it looses HP and damage reduction. But cheaper, quad attack, and speed 8 make up for it.
