Ok so if you are a pointman for the v-set you need to make sure you have gotten your pm to leshippy with the number of sets you need. He just sent me what he had and the list is rather short.

I dont really care whether you donated or not. That is not what we are looking for. I am looking to get a final list for mailing this stuff out.

If you dontated and list that you are the pointman I still need you numbers.

Please dont assume anything here. Right not I have my donations list and I have my list from Les and this list is way shorter than it should be.

I don't understand why we're supposed to PM Leshippy, in addition to the posts made in the main Pointman thread. In that thread, Les asked everyone to double-check their numbers on Page 1, and then for anyone who didn't donate via Kickstarter to PM him with their address info. So, anybody that you think you're missing ought to be on that first post of the main Pointman thread.

Well I am sorry you dont understand but it doesnt change the need. But let me be clear.

I need people to have their numbers right. I am not wanting to hunt people down.

If you say you need 12 sets I need 12 names. Why? Because maybe one of those you include in your 12 donated. Well I dont need to double up on that.

So here is what I need.

i need the point men to post their name and the number they need along with the names. Do that here.

Also if you donated you really need to respond to the address request. I dont know who alpha is much less where he lives. So really you need to resond to that I have about 20 names that I dont have a clue who they are much less where they live. It is going to be hard to get some of this done without that basic info.

One other thing.

I am getting way too many pointmen for close quarters.

Canada is the perfect example. I have 6 donators. I have a request for 11. I have 2 point men that appear on my map within 2 hours of each other.

The idea is I send to one. Then you guys get them to your surrounding area. If this mean you have to mail a package or two.... no biggie. But it becomes a huge biggie when I am double or tripling the amount packages I have to send. Eventually I will make an error and someone will miss out. Not good.

So folks we really need to tighten things down and get the info out there.

Again I need names to go with numbers of people so I am not double and triple sending sets to the same person. This prevents me from not being able to send to someone else. help me out.

OK, I'll copy some of this info over to the other Pointmen thread. That really wasn't made clear in the main thread, and you didn't make the request clear in this thread that you wanted ALL the names for people on the lists. Yes, I know it was discussed on the SHHN, but not everybody catches up on those things or listens to them right away/live. So, was just trying to clarify why you were asking for more PMs and what exactly was being asked for.

Well, I can see why people would be adverse to that though. For instance, if you send a box to me, and then I have to send 1 individual package to person A that lives an hour from me (because I'm not likely to meet up with him soon), then it will cost roughly $5 to send the package to that guy, plus, whatever the total shipping for the big box to me, which I would be asking all the people expecting cards from that box to help cover. So, person A has to pay DOUBLE for his shipping, simply because they live a bit farther out. It's more convenient for you Dean, but more money for some of these guys. I would say, if they live a big distance from other players, AND they donated on Kickstarter, then they've done more than enough to warrant being sent an individual package. It's not like the Kickstarter drive didn't have enough overage in order to cover all the postage, even if you have to send some solo.

OK, I'm locking this thread short term so that Les and Dean can get straightened out exactly what they're doing. Dean says to PM Les, and Les says to post in Dean's thread. There's way too much info going into the wrong places here, and it WILL cause confusion. So, once Dean and Les have sorted out EXACTLY how they want to handle this, these threads can be re-opened.

Les that is perfect and exactly what I need. Thank you.

You actually cleared up 2 problems for me that I was having with a couple of donaters with no info.

That post told me where to send theirs too. This is exactly why it was so helpful
