Well, we haven't done a Gamer's only preview as of yet, so here we go, one just for our members (I'm not concerned with it getting shared either, just to be clear). Just thought it would be fun for our forum members to see another one first. Also, being that's it's almost my personal favorite holiday - Black Wednesday - I've posted two other previews around the web. Make sure you check out the usual places.

So this is one of my personal favorite Mando additions with this set. I love having a generic BH. This guy went through several models in design before settling on this one. It's meant to represent kind of a generic Boba/Jango type character, but one still working for Mandalore. With decent stats for the cost, and cheap double attack, this guy can be a monster. It's pretty easy to give him whatever he wants (twin, accurate, attack bonus, etc.) He adds a really nice non-U to the faction that fits in between a couple of their other pieces, and most importantly for me, he has 70hps, which means he can survive a lancer strafe. Together with some of the not yet previewed pieces (hint hint), he's quite the beast.

Just need to see the Double. Pretty good piece to set up a Double Twin with.

Technically, since it's in General, non-member can see it too.

This is probably only my second favorite Mando piece from the new set. 1st going to the gunsmith. 70 HP's is huge, but the only damage modifier he can get is Momentum, though 40 damage of Accurate on a 22 point piece is nothing to scoff at.

Hopefully, we can eventually get away from 16 defense Mandos, though really it can only go to about 18 and still keep faction flavor. Sure he has Stealth but with a likely upswing in Mandos, Accurate will be almost everywhere. Though some builds may choose to forgo Boba for other Mandalores .

GMA is a possibility, but likely to costly for my tastes to run.

Nice piece. Flamethrower should prove to be pretty handy at times.

Actually, that used to be correct but after the revamp awhile back the only thing non-members can see is the HoF, Gencon/Regionals, Archive, and Starships 2.0 forum. So no way at all to see this post unless you sign in.

I was just basing it off the "front page" of the forum for the unlogged in. Sure, once you get in the forum you can backtrack to a different portion of the site but if you just look at the main forum page all you'll see is what I mentioned. That's all I meant.

Very fun piece. In playtesting we ran him with both of the Vigo's and the captain and QM. It was nice to always have the 20 damage going when you are shooting so your not tied to cunning with gunslingers or opp with scouts.

Flamethrower is also pretty awesome sending in one of them to totally nerf a mouse droid wall is sweet.

but ya the biggest seller is the 70 HP makes him a tough little sob to take down.

The day more Americans go to the bar than any other during the year, coincidentally its also the one night of the year where the fewest people have to work the next day

I have to say I like the 2 NR pieces you hid out there. Especially the one with Force Bubble, gives the piece some great longevity.
