For SF Bay Area California, you can knock it down to 8. I'd like that many to cover part timers who might show up for a release event. I'll return any unused sets to Dean.

If things are really dire, I can cancel the event and you can knock it down to 5 sets for my regulars that have been particpating in the WotC events, regionals, and occasionally Gencon for years.

Chicago is right. 15 should cover the regulars.

Cincinnati is incorrect. Can be reduced to 10. May request a couple more down the line if possible, but 10 will cover the regulars for now.

Oh, Gunther, Gunther, Gunther. Are you not aware of my ultimate master plan??? Muah ha ha ha ha
I plan on kidnapping as many Missouri people as I can, taking a trip over to see Dean, and we're going to earn our keep by helping package as many as we can.

Sounds like fun, and not just the kidnapping part. ;)

I posted late to be a point man and never heard a response. I need 4 sets definitely and would like 5 if possible, 6 would be great to try to keep a player on the edge of quitting in the game. So 4 sets i guess for Central Va, Roanoke to Harrisonburg.

You'll be able to download the sets to the cardstock of your liking later. Thats what we are doing for those in our group who are on the edge of quitting. Heck, I will probably end up doing that for this one dude who is on the verge.

EDIT: OK, ignore this post. Please look further down for correct instructions at this point in time. Sorry for the confusion.

OK guys, here's the deal. EVERY Pointman needs to send a PM to Leshippy with the NAMES for all of the sets accounted for in your totals. Again, we are looking at the possibility of actually running out of these cards right off the bat here, especially if people are asking for multiple sets for 1 person. The sets are 1 per person, and where possible, 1 per household if you have more than one player. If you're someone that KNOWS you'll be playing at GenCon, or are a super-regular player, I don't see there being an issue with having more than 1 per household. But remember, you'll be able to print extra cards from the online PDF, and every extra set you request means that someone else may not get one. Let's all be a friendly community here and not do stuff like that.

So, each Pointman send a PM to LESHIPPY with the following:

Your name
Your address
The NAMES of ALL people in your group getting cards (Preferrably first AND last names, in case things need to be matched to the Kickstarter. Could also denote who you know donated via Kickstarter with an asterisk or something.)
The Total # of cards requested

Make the subject line of the PM read "(Your City) Pointman - Final Numbers". So, for instance, mine would read like this:

Quote:
Cincinnati Pointman - Final Numbers

Aaron Brueckman
House # Street Name
City State Zip Code

Sets needed:
Aaron Brueckman *
Bryan Creehan *
Ira Gansler
Chris Neal *
Mike Catron
Matt Belmont
Brian Re
Bryan Moore *
James Naegele *
William Firr *

Total Sets needed: 10

EDIT: I know that a lot of you guys may say "Well, we've done this already, why do we keep having to send this info?!?" We are trying to help Dean not kill himself with this. If you've ever done mass-mailing type stuff before, it can be an absolute nightmare trying to keep it all straight. So this is to help make sure that nobody gets left out. Please have patience with us, and help us make this thing go smoothly.

ATTENTION ALL POINT MEN.

Sorry for the confusion. I don't need nor do I want to sift through all the names of who is gettign sets from you. You need to post that information at the thread.

http://www.swmgamers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10135

This saves multiple people handling the same info and possibly screwing it up.

EDIT by LoboStele: I posted those instructions because that is what Dean said to do in the other thread. Please, nobody send ANY PMs till Les and Dean straighten this out and post in this thread as to how exactly they want it handled. The last thing we need is MORE confusion.

Post subject:  Re: DOTF Pointmen needed for set distribution.

OK, I'm locking this thread short term so that Les and Dean can get straightened out exactly what they're doing. Dean says to PM Les, and Les says to post in Dean's thread. There's way too much info going into the wrong places here, and it WILL cause confusion. So, once Dean and Les have sorted out EXACTLY how they want to handle this, these threads can be re-opened.

Post subject:  Re: DOTF Pointmen needed for set distribution.

OK guys. Really sorry for the brief confusion there. Just trying to make sure that everyone gets taken care of, and that nobody gets left out. So, Dean is trying to cross-check people's name against the Kickstarter.

So, if you are a Pointman, then take the information that I referenced above (Pointman name, and the names of ALL people you are requesting cards for) and go post it in this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10135

See the other posts in that thread for examples on how to post the info. Thanks!

I'm curious how this works for those of us who donated, but don't play at a local gaming store and therefore do not personally know any of the pointmen. I'm part of small group of players that just play the game at each others house once or twice a month. I did donate, responded to the email with my address and marked 'No' on being a pointman. I'm in the St. Louis/St. Charles, MO area. If none of the pointmen know me, from where will the cards be mailed. I'm just trying to figure out how this works because I didn't even know about pointmen until I got the email from kickstarter. I just kind of assumed that they would be send out to all those that donated directly.
