Hey there,
I donated to the kickstarter fund and I posted a request to become a pointman for 4 sets and I never heard from anyone. Now there is this talk about the sets being all used up and I am worried about the situation. I have a small group to work as a pointman for and I need 4 sets. If nothing else, though, we need at least 1 set here to work from. Who do I have to PM to get a response? Will someone contact me because of my kickstarter donation (that's what I thought I had read but I don't know for sure). Please help. :fight:

OK guys, here is the deal. We are actually running close to using up all the sets, which is in and of itself an absolutely astounding thing.

So....in an effort to make sure that everybody gets at least 1 set that they need, we need all of the pointmen to go back and scrub their lists of sets that they need.

Please try to limit the sets to 1 per household. So, if you have multiple players in your house, please only request 1 set at this time. You will be able to print FOR FREE the entire thing from SWMGamers here. It will be in a PDF format, and you should be able to just print it onto card stock and cut them up yourself for whatever extra cards you need.

After that, if extra sets still remain, and people would like 1 or 2 more, then further requests can be made. But things like this:

We don't need to do this guys. These are not 'collectible' like the miniatures were. You ONLY need the actual 'officially' printed cards if you intend to play at large events like Regionals or GenCon. Even then, if you have an un-altered set of cards you printed yourself, there will probably not be any problems at those large events. So, if you want extra cards for yourself or others in your household, then please plan to print them off yourself.

Iowa can be dropped to 3 sets total. Dropped one guy of the list who doesn't game too much anymore, in response to the card shortage. There aren't very many players locally, but we still play on a regular basis.
As I mentioned before, I did donate the $20 to kickstarter. If there are any address issues, please let me know.
Although I doubt too many guys named Josh from Iowa donated!

Wichita needs 3 sets. Chris Kurtz (me on kickstarter) and Nic Schiefler (Alpha on kickstarter) and then 1 for a lead person at another game store in town. Then I can pass them all along.

I'm a donor from Iowa (never played here...yet), but I will be returning to Utah for Christmas and could serve as pointman and deliver sets to my former playgroup there. Apart from my own set of cards, I have two brothers (separate households) and one additional friend who play in the Utah area and could use them. Just let me know if this will work and/or if there are still card sets available.

I wish I had found these posts before messaging Dean through Kickstarter. Sorry for any redundant communication!

I assume you are volunteering to be the point man for that area. Or are you close enough to one of the other Ontario pointmen that it can be put in with their shipment

Hello,

I'm in the St. Louis area and needed to order a set or two. I have sent dean a message a week ago, and have not been replied to. I know he is a busy guy. If I need to order them through KC or another near by location, i can do that too.

To all pointmen - -

If you donated via Kickstarter you will be recieving an email with a link that you HAVE to follow so Dean can get your address!!! If you are a pointman and did not donate via Kickstater...well shame on you :) PM me your address and I will get it to Dean. In the subject line of the PM put your name and didn't donate via KS.

Thanks

Talked about it and NJ only needs 6 sets now NOT 7. so total of 6 for NJ now.

also I answered the kickstarter e-mail as the NJ pointmen, didn't think to say Dimetrodon before submitting the information, but I assume that is just as well hehe.

SWPA/Pittsburgh remains at 3 sets.

If anyone in the area hasn't contacted me, you need to do so. Those three are spoken for.

I posted late to be a point man and never heard a response. I need 4 sets definitely and would like 5 if possible, 6 would be great to try to keep a player on the edge of quitting in the game. So 4 sets i guess for Central Va, Roanoke to Harrisonburg.

Update for Northern VA:

After making some phone calls and explaining to my group how many sets are being requested throughout the world, some of my players have decided to forgo the printed cards and just go with the .pdf version. We're a close group and have decided that when Regionals come around, those of us WITH cards will let those WITHOUT cards borrow what they need.

With that said, my list has gone down to 16. If there are any sets leftover, I will probably ask for some for those players who made the sacrifice for the good of the community.

Thanks again to everyone who worked on this project, for all the hard work and time involved with putting it together, and for making sure that everyone who wants a set can have access to it. I can't think of a better time to be a Star Wars Miniatures Gamer.

Roy
