What happend to Star Wars Promo's???

Ok since im now running dci events....I just noticed somthing rather funny! I can't get star wars promo's For the store! And wizards is useless at telling me WHAT happend to them :roll:

Anyone able to fill me in on what i missed during my 2 years of Not playing?? :geek:

Economic cutback. They decided to stop doing the League Kits last year or so.

Well it was that or they raise booster prices again. I for one perfer it this way. Also consider how much those rules/checklists cost and how many of them were wasted? Most players kept one, maybe two. So that means if you bought two cases that'd be 22 wasted, thats cost for them, you, and the enviorment your saving the current way

Ya makes my promo ugh's\shadowguards worth somthing! lol.

Also i just noticed the price increase to lol (Yet i never noticed well pricing the boosters at work...)

My God, man. How many rules inserts does one man need? So I can see where WotC is going with the inserts being downloadable. This past set (Galaxy At War), they had the inserts available, like, a week before the set even hit the stores. 8-)

ive noticed that too.....now i know where all of my "promo" figs came from.....Promotions, lol.
i saw on Ebay yesterday, a RBSV promo was going for as much as a VR!! i have 2 of them! 3 Shadow troopers, a gonk, a Mando blademaster, (some dude in france sent it to me).
but i would never sell them, cuz they are as cool as ice.

I don't understand why they don't have a single Rules Insert in each case. That way case buyers each get one. Stores are bound to go through several cases so they'd have some they could hand out to regulars as necessary, whilst still keeping one for the store for reference.
