I am pretty excited about this. I have never been to Disney. Everyone that I know that has went has pretty much stated that Star Tours is pretty lame, so updated effects and rides sounds like a great idea. My family and I have been planning a trip for awhile now (waiting for the boy to get old enough to actually remember the experience. :P ) 2011 sounds like it will fit in perfectly to our plans. :D

The current ride is definitely fun, though it's starting to feel a bit dated. I remember enjoying the first time I rode on it, and that was only in like 2000 or 2001. So, I still thought it was decent. Now that I've rode on it 7 or 8 times, I start to think "Yeah, this could use an upgrade". :P

Believe me, the old ride is still my favorite thing to go to at Disney Land. I've been loving it since i was 5 years old! :D

Youtube it before a legendary ride goes out for good. I will sorely miss going to the old Star Tours ride, but i hope they keep the old droid pilot. I am looking forward however to the new Star Tours that will be shown. Yay podracing! :D
