There is currently a custom SWM contest going on over at Wizos. After submitting my entry, I finally browsed through some of the other entries. One in particular caught my attention:

I understand customs are hard to make. Believe me, I know. I had a very difficult time costing my characters. But I was so shocked to see UggieDemo's entry. He basically copied GOWK. The notable differences:

-CE
-Knight Speed
+20 HPs
+Lightsaber Duelist
Force Push 2 instead of FP 3 (I'd argue FP 2 is more versatile)
+Riposte
+Lightsaber Assault

The best part about this evil clone with more offensive kick? He has it costed at 49. Ouch. I feel safe in saying his Anakin has NO chance of beating that Obi-Wan. None whatsoever. Even using Force Grip 2, it would take 7 rounds (or 14 FPs) to defeat Obi-Wan. That's not going to happen.

I'm not usually this critical over customs, but that entry just left me shaking my head.

edit: In case some of you are feeling I am a hypocrite, feel free to critique my entry. I realize it is far from perfect. Anyone else think Zayne should cost at least 40? Or should Reversal of Fortune cost 3 Force Points?

LOL! The comedy keeps coming. The latest person to post an entry actually thinks that the Anakin vs Obi-Wan entry is going to win. Maybe I'm missing something here, but that just seems crazy. Keep in mind I'm not saying this simply because I want to win. I genuinely wonder why the latest poster feels that entry is going to win.

Hmmm, I must be one of the few interested in that Customs contest . Oh well.

As for Obi verses Anakin, I could see it being a pretty fair game, so long as the Anakin-player had a loaded die! I'd love to see if some testing was put into *any* of these miniatures. Most seem like a battle of titans...
