Just an interesting note. (I figured might as well use this thread since it's here)

I have made a total of two reports on a post of mine that was going off-topic and it had an Orc visit in less then 10 minutes from the time I reported. Now I am not a report happy person, I do not report with a rapid fire trigger finger, but I figured this is my thread and I created it with a specific intent and people want to drag it into the mier that is the ethics of gowk. Which I don't give a crap about any more. I think we need to start making the mods work for us. Part of the issue I think might be we have ignored the mods becasue as adults (for the most part) we aren't out to get at anybody and aren't easily offended as some have proven to be. But I think if we took the time to work the system in our favor we might start to see some better consistancy. The ORC backed me in the reagards to what I was asking. And I was asking for a small number of specific people to post, which is something I never thought would happen.

I was going through my archived threads and I found this from 18 months ago:

The more things change the more they stay the same, eh? :P

Well yea.......its been that way for a long time. It just takes a few rotating immature posters to bring things to a head every few months. Usually those trigger happy report clowns end up disappearing for lengthy periods of time anyway. So it's a vicious circle. This seems to surprise people for some reason.
