Check this out if you love the Clone Wars cartoons. This looks sweet!

I love the idea of roving around the cartoon worlds on the different vehicles. Hopefully this is more like a battlefront type game as compared to the ROTS hack/slash type game, but really I will be happy if I can just play coop in the cartoon world with my son.

Link no work. Is it a 3rd person shooter/slasher? Or is it more like the older Clone Wars or SW: Demolition style games where it's more vehicle based?

OK try the link again. It's tough to say at this point what kind of game this is. The trailer shows alot of movie type graphics and only a little of actual gameplay. It says it comes out in sept. I want to play as Cad Bane, this much I know!!!!

Bah, can't see the video since I'm at work. I'll have to look it up later tonight. I saw a couple different quick blurbs/articles about it though. I'm impressed that LucasArts was able to keep it this much under wraps with a release date only 4 months away. On the other hand, makes me think that it's probably another rush job aimed at mindless sales to 1) people like us who buy everything with the SW tag on it, and 2) young kids who won't know the difference between a good or bad game. Honestly, I couldn't stand the CW Lightsaber Dueling game. I played it with my wife for a bit when we first got it, then I sat down one evening and in two hours, played through the whole 'story mode'. After that point, I really didn't feel like doing endless hours of mindless challenges just to unlock all the other possible players. It was just mindless hack-n-slash, and didn't interest me at all. So, it worries me that this could be more of the same.

Honestly, Force Unleashed was a pretty cool game, but IMO, LucasArts hasn't produced anything in recent years that comes even close to equaling the awesomeness that was the Dark Forces or X-Wing/TIE Fighter franchises.

I have my fingers crossed that it's a Battlefront type game. I'm a big fan of both I and II and I still like to play both when I can. I'm also hoping that it's not a rush to market game that has little replay value or one that is filled with glitches like KOTOR2 .
