Cool!

Have you heard any news recently on the next Star Trek movie? I think they are going to have Khan as the bad guy. 8-)

A while back the imdb boards. Their was a ton of talk about Khan. So pretty much it sounded like their was no way he would not be in it. Actually their is some things they can do here. Like have the klingions meet Khan first or something.

How about in that first star trek movie, it hinted at an entire world of machines. Which was never mentioned again, at least on film. Now that is something that would be really interesting. Well it be better than another borg story, through a borg orgin story would be cool.

At least I think, ST TMP is not really a movie i want to go out of my way to find, so I can watch it. :D

That movie probably came out when electric guitars were first invented, becuase the 20 or so minutes of the Enterprise getting to the center of V'ger sounded like random strings being stummed on a electric guitar. :P

I haven't seen Star Trek the Motion Picture in a while, but I think it would be cool to see where in the galaxy Voyager went and how it got to be such a massive ship.

Voyager 6, a 20th-century Earth space probe believed lost. The damaged probe was found by an alien race of living machines

So who is this race :?:  :o

I heard he was supposed to be in the next movie, so I hope it does have him. If they do, they better get a good actor to play as him. It would be interesting to see Khan again. When is the next Star Trek movie coming out?

restricting formats by set
Some chosing not to play the game if and when another company picks it up without the current mechanics

well the novel series Star Trek Destiny gives the brog a different origin, which i think atleast form my understanding is what is being used as "canon", but since there isn't a set in stone approved list of events beyond the shows and movies, its up to anyone's guess how long it will stay. But i guess with the loose canon,it keeps the fans whining down to a minium when ever something changes,

ha ha :?
■Gene Roddenberry joked in an interview shortly after "Q Who" that the machine planet seen by Spock might have been the Borg homeworld. (Star Trek Encyclopedia

The Star Trek: Voyager episode "Dragon's Teeth" seems to contradict the game's storyline, as the character of Gedrin states to Seven of Nine that his species, the Vaadwaur, had encountered the Borg over nine centuries prior to his revival, placing the Borg's genesis at least as far back as around the year 1400 AD.

From what i can tell theres roughly 3 to four different ideas floating aorund about the origin of the Borg...

In the game Star Trek: Legacy, an alternate explanation was given to the creation of the Borg which states that the probe V'Ger created the Collective to serve as its heralds in its search for knowledge. However, the creation of the Borg Queen resulted in the creation of an entity that abandoned the original intent of V'Ger. This is also similar to the Shatnerverse version of events.

The comments in the Voyager episode,Gene's comments and the Star Trek: Destiny novel, then the Managa, so pick and choose..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek_canon
