I don't know, I could see another $50 drop as a possibility in 2 years.

Nintedo Wii has got the inovation, and 360 has got the.... well it's just awesome. If PS3 where cheaper I might set my sites on it.

I have PS1, PS2, old B&W gameboy, Gameboy Color, GBA SP, Micro, DS Lite. I have older systems, but none of those still work.

That's only if you accept the fact that a blue-ray DVD player is worth $500.

No it's not worth $500. I have about 1,500 standard DVDs that say so

I don't have quite that many. I just don't see the ned for a new format when the stuff I have now works perfectly fine.

That's just another reason not to spend $500 on a blue-ray player. Sure would suck spending that much and have blue-ray end up as the betamax of blue-ray vs HD.

Yea I hear that. I'm not replacing mine for a couple of extra pixel clarity at that cost. The new TVs do enough for me at this point.

Both HD-DVD and Blueray are unlikely to become the new standard. Very far away before HD penetration is anywhere near that.

Have PC and XBOX 360. I finally broke down and got a premium system at the goodwill, slightly used, but everything works and the whole deal with 2 games was $250. I was a PC gamer for a long time and sick of buying a new PC every 4-5 years to play the games on. I already had a HD-DVD player and I am one of those that greatly enjoys watching regular DVD's on it and there is a big difference. So, I don't care who wins the war because I will always be able to watch DVD's on it. I only have 4 HD DVD movies and can't tell that much difference between regular and HD, but using the player is a night and day difference.

Oh and I was able to sell my N64 and SNES to the local game shop for $125 in store credit I used to by all the other XBOX stuff like wireless headset and 3 other games. I have a 4year old and we love playing SW legos on the big screen in high def with the surround sound which is yet another reason I won't miss being a PC gamer.

Old school LOL. I still have my Commodore Amiga & C64, not that I actually use them. The last time I plugged in the C64 it smelt funny, started to smoke, then did nothing. Just have to rely on C64 emulators now.

The most recent machine I own is a PS2, although I played on a Wii for the first time this weekend and I'm toying with the idea of buying one. I'm not upgrading my PC until KOTOR III is made.
