According to this and to my movie buddy it is official that JJ Abrams was named director of episode 7.
Just wanted to open up conversation and hear others opinion of this news.

I think there is some very good talent behind this movie so far. I'm excited.

Though the years of lens flare jokes will be getting old. But some of the negative reactions will keep me entertained.
