I've never invested a lot of time in building and running swarm squads. In fact, it hasn't been until the last 2 months I've had enough z95s and tie fighters to run full blown swarms. Now that I do, I've been playtesting Gerry's Zed swarm with limited success. (limited in the number of games and quality of opponents) I really like the 'mini' swarm of 4 academy ties, Howlrunner, and Fel with PTL, Autothrusters, Targeting Computer, and the interceptor title. Thoughts?

Swarms are good in just being able to target something every turn just by having available guns. I do agree that more of a mix is better. Fel can do just about anything whatever you want to put with him works great.

Once the new title for Advanced TIE's comes out they might make for a decent swarm.

The Zeds are now 29-9 in Competitive Events i.e. Nationals, Regionals and Store Champs.

They are a thing.
