Greetings from Korriban!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Sith are again rising and this time really seething with Force lightning energy, to announce the Strategicon LAX Convention "Gateway 2012", which people have been coming to for many years, will be sponsoring 2 SWM events, at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel, on Sunday, September 2, 2012, 11:00am-9:00pm, located just a few minutes from LAX. Event 1, starting at 11:00am-3:00pm, we will be having a SWM 150pt "Scum and Villainy" new virtual set sealed booster draft tournament. "Scum and Villainy" is the new 60 card virtual expansion set. This is the 4th virtual set put out by SWM Gamers. Each participant will receive 2 booster slips each containing randomized minis on each slip. From the 2 slips, each person will construct the best 150pt team they can, using only the minis from their slips. Gambit will be in effect. Faction rules do not apply! Please arrive at 10:30am to register and pay for event ( VIP-As many of us are only playing in the 2 SWM events, you do not have to purchase a full day badge, so come to the minis area first, so that you will only have to pay for the SWM event badge, which has been costing us only $10 per person. ) We will break for lunch from 3:00pm-4:30pm. Event 2, starting from 4:30pm-9:00pm, will be "Epic Mass Battle" where we will be unleashing "Epics" on the battle field. Each participant will construct a 100pt team and add 1 epic character to their squad. From their, we will make teams and battle it out. This battle will be a fantastic one so prepare to have a ton of fun blasting and slashing away. You won't want to miss this one, so plan on attending Force Users! For those of you that don't know, Strategicon, is the proud Con that is So Cals finest gaming convention! It takes place Labor Day Weekend, Presidents Day Weekend, and Memorial Day weekend, every year. Each holiday weekend has a special Con name, and Labor Day weekend is known as Gateway 2012. Please join us in battle as we slash, Force push, Force lightning, Force grip, Sith sorcery, Force whirlwind, blast, grenade, missles, pulse cannon, atlatyl, razorbug, and thudbug the day away.
