I would really advise against rolling randomly to determine map lists, especially in heavily Regionalized areas such as this. I would get together with other TO's (MI, Chi, Owensboro??) and try to get a representation of each map list. Though I guess going first has it's priviledges and others can try to synergize on their own.

I find this puzzling. I think I get what you are trying to say, but I keep coming back to the fact if each set of maps is "weighted" evenly, then this shouldn't really matter. However if they are not weighted evenly then I think that might be a bigger problem to go into here.

I would be surprised if Owensboro has a regional this year. Dennis moved, Gray is in college, and Jason is playing hero clix now. I am not sure what Brandon is doing, but none of them played there last year.

I'd say they're pretty closely matched, but they are still different maps and the Championship level will encompass A,B, and C. My thoughts would be that regions closer together would try to have a Regional with A one with B etc. so that the players in that area would have a better feel for each of the list. Honestly, though, that determination came when I thought people were going to be a lot less supportive of this.

Makes sense to me. Spread the love so to speak.

And it's not just about getting to play certain maps. I want to see a variety of these maps played by others.

Tim, does that mean that in Chi we will be on map list B? Since Les and I have taken lists A+C :maul:

Well as I recall Jacen once said "For all the evil they do, they arn't dark exactly." And because of that,... You should make Vong fringe for this.

They weren't dark back then, they just sucked. Now, they have a definitely darker flavour ***WARNING going off on a ridiculous tangent up ahead**
Spoiler: show
, yet strangely are mixed heavily in with NR, who are lightly mixed with Mandos, who are also mixed with the Sith, who are also mixed with OR. Funny how all the minor factions are linked that way. Jagged Fel plays more in NR than Imperial, and then there are various non-unique Jedi that are linked across Republic Factions. NR mixed a bit with Rebel as is some Republic. Maul connects Sith and Seps and Imp Sith Witches. Ragnos brings Imp Disciples to the Sith and GARY mixes the Troops up too. Oh and Caedus mixes stuff up as well. Probably more I'm forgetting, forgive me it is hard to keep up. What is my point, I can't remember but I feel like I would rather hit Submit than Cancel so I'll put in a spoiler warning.

Just found some prize support to add in to the mix. 3 complete sets of uncut sheets of Scum and Villany.

One will be given out as a door prize.

If people are interested (Tim so far) in a shirt let me know by mid-May with a post here listing your size. I will be ordering them and try to keep the cost as low as possible and you can pay me at the Kokomo Regional. If you just want a shirt and are not attending, you can get one from the CustomInk link provided and they will send it to you after payment.

THIS IS THE FINAL DESIGN LINK TO TAKE A LOOK OR ORDER:

If you want more uncut sheets just let me know. It's all living at my house (or at least what is left).

Work is pushing and its looking more and more likely that I won't be able to attend this one this year. It's very disappointing for me who wants to play, for Tim who needs driving partner, and I'd hate to see even less numbers at a regional.
At this point I'm chalking it up to a no go for me but if something changes then I will certainly be there. I look forward to results, squads, play reports.
Good luck everyone, have fun, can't wait to hear how it all goes.

Realy Hoping we can still go. We have a baby sitter, so that isnt an issue, but the problem is that THe girl that said she would work that weekend changed her mind. SO now i would be getting off work at 6:30 Am and then also going in at 10:30 that night so unless i can get someone to work for me somehow, i dont think we will be up. but here's hoping i find someone.
