Time for the 4th annual Capital City Champs at Capital City Collectibles in Lansing Michigan. Entry Fee: $10 Start time : Registration at 9 AM start at 10 AM Format: 200 pts and entire restricted map list as of Jan 15 (including nightclub, muun, command decks, cliffside, or simulation deck) Prizes: Top 4 will draft from a complete set of S+V, Trophies for Top 4, other prizes for those not in T4. Bounty Hunter Challenge pieces will NOT be legal for this event. Eric is running an X-Wing tournament at his house on Friday night. Sunday is our regular day to play SWM and we will run a Tile Wars event that day at Capital City Collectibles. |

As it stands now, my work schedule that week is such that I work both the night before and night of the tournament, so it would likely interfere with me getting sleep before work. As it stands, the next iteration of the pairing software should be ready by then, and possibly with the ability to enter in results to the ranking system. That's my goal at least. I may have to find a minion... I mean volunteer  to help with the software.I may pop in to see how everyone is doing though. |

I would love to make it over there but realistically a lot would have to happen to make it a reality. I'll start checking with the Janesville crew and see if anyone else might consider making the trip. |

My house is open to stay at both the night before and the night after the event. First to let me know gets a bed (I have three extra). |

Seeing the Jan 15 map update, we will use the full list (as it is too soon to change to one of the groups, especially if someone has been practicing on a particular map). However, if you want to play one of the newly added maps (nightclub, muun, command decks, cliffside, or simulation deck) then feel free. |

Managed to not only get that night off, but will also be there to debut the official release of the next version of my pairing software. While still not perfect, I do feel it is a vast improvement over what we had before, since I actually included the interface in my design, rather than 'duct tape' an interface to talk to the backend like I did last time. So I'll be on hand in case something goes horribly wrong with it. Now the hard part, figuring out what to play at the tournament... |

Well my wife has given me permission to go, but the problem is, she needs the car for a doctors appointment and to take Alexzander to a birthday party of a classmate. So I don't know who, if anyone is going that I would be able to catch a ride with. Lately I've been getting home from work around 3:30. I hope that someone is going that we could make this work. |
