I can guarantee this. If you face me at Wisconsin Regional - no mercy. If you are paired against me at Danville Regional - I will make every human attempt to crush you. At GenCon, even if you are a little kid playing for the first time, I will probably make you cry as I kill every one of your pieces.

Great, Now look what we've done.
We've created a Monster!!! :fight2:

I tried to put just the smiley crying but it wouldn't work.

Jason Alvey conceded to let his friend and gaming partner Brandon Pyle win in the Swiss rounds so that Brandon could have a better chance of making the finals. I know this because Jason literally told me this is what he did directly, and that this was his intention.

Of course Brandon lost again and neither made the final 4, so it wasn't really examined closely.

I would personally argue that it was in his rights to do, but according to what some people have posted that would be bracket/pairing manipulation and cheating.

Just to explain this some I conceded before the match started. I had zero chance of winning. Otherwise I never would have conceded. I hate to lose ask anyone who plays with me a lot. But I know when I'm beat. I was playing a 13 act mando shooter squad and Brandon had a 22 or so activation lord vader thrawn swap with ozzel. All he needed to do was was spin 7 pieces swap with vader kill an attacker win init with thrawn rinse and repeat. I didn't really want to drag it out.
I guess what got me from Wes 's game description was that he said you beat him down to one piece then proceeded to let him shoot all your stuff and didn't return fire. I mean if the game is in hand finish it. That account to me was simply throwing a game that you had essentially won. And he said he got a 2pt victory out of it. That sounded pretty bad. Apparently that was not what happened. I have to apologize.
