Alright after making a few phone calls it looks like Danville IL. will be having a regional. First place prize will be a 4 day badge to Gencon. It looks like other prizes will include a case of minis to draft from and possibly some map packs and other things. June 30th. 2012 BC Collectibles (217) 431-1422 2917 N Vermilion St, #C50, Danville, IL 61832 Registration 11am Cost will be $15 Normal regional rules will apply; 200 pts, bring your own map from the restricted list. Some of the prizes will include trophies by Eric Larson, and uncut V-set sheets. Also there should be a case of boosters available for draft Thanks to Christopher West, we now have have some maps to give away for the main event and 3 sets of tiles for the Tile Wars Regional. SvenBlackSunVigo also just confirmed that he has these figures ready for prizes as well: Figirin D'an (the one that won best custom at Kokomo Regional), Foul Modoma, Brianna, YV Droid Hunter, 4 Republic Commandos, some Sparti Clones and Mace Windu. Leshippy will be our judge for the event!!! |

Awsome we should have a date here in a few weeks, the shop owner's wife is starting a new job where she works every other saturday so he wants a Saturday where she can handle the regular customers so he can enjoy having us there. |

I am ok with this if it doesnt mess up the WI regional numbers. Kind of would of been nice to have a heads up before we setup a date for that regional since your in a good location for a regional. Close enough for WI,Chicago players IN, and others. |

Nope were certainly planning on working around the Wisconsin schedule. We just want as many events for everyone to attend as possible. If it is an issue we might possibly be able to run the event in May but that might be to close to Chicago. Also sorry for the late notice, the event is actually not going to be held at our main local venue but one we used to run events at in our local mall. Stupidly I didn't think of asking that venue till today.. oops. |

Its all good. You can even go into July if you really have to since Gencon is so late this year. I wouldnt do it but that can be done. |

Would everyone be ok with June 30th or the first week of July? That would give plenty of time after the Wisconsin Regional to make sure everyone can make it? |

Any last weekend of the months are really bad for me die to the work schedule.the first week of July would probably be better however some people may or may not be able to make it due to fourth of July.but if those are the only dates I will deal just hopefully I will be in attendance |

Yeah I know, that was something I worried about. However Floyd the owner at the shop at the mall was only wanting 5 people for a badge at the current price so I dont think the increase will be to terrible on his expectations.. @Sven Yeah the other idea is doing it in May, which I dont think Floyd would mind, Im just going with what will be the best for the community. |

July 1 first is the last day for pre reg. So June 30th would work. |

I could run the event myself but truth be told I'm not the most comfy with that idea since I'm still feeling rusty from coming back. Good chance I could be ready to go by the end of June but having an expert like yourself would just be icing on the cake for the event. |

i may be able to swing over for it, it just depends on money and weather or not my wife works that weekend. I will be off for shutdown though so i would love to spend my first saturday off playing minis, no better way to relax than trying to shoot down some scrubs lol. |
