Did you guys find a judge? If not I would consider it. (you know with the possibility of playing as well)

No one has volunteered yet. I think they saw how bummed Lou was last year -- long drive just to judge -- and didn't want to experience that first-hand. If someone really wants to do that, great. But I will not put or shame someone into that position. (Except my poking post to Tim B above. :D ) Thanks for the offer, but you should come and play without worrying about judging. Unless you've already won a Regional. ;)

So it looks like I will judge and hopefully fill in against the byes.

It's not like I don't get to play routinely anyways. 8-)

I will be driving up with Tim (like last year). I have started working and have been burnt out as of late so I have not been able to think of any squads to play or havnt been able to Playtest anything so I brought it up to Tim that I would consider judging and depending on what kind of turnout we have here that I might be able to do both.

As long as your name isn't Jonny and you don't randomly decide to leave early, I wouldn't see a problem with you playing and judging. :)

Well, when you say it that way ... I can't resist your sweet talk. :) If you still feel that way Saturday, we'll take you up on the offer. Thanks.

Are you going to do a TILE WARS tournament during the top 4 finals? Many of the other Regionals have done this and it's been received very well.

It's a great way to keep everyone playing and gives more chances for victories while the top 4 slug it out.

If you are doing it I will bring extra tiles and squads to hand out to anyone interested in playing.

Since no one else has answered this yet, I will use my newly appointed judge power to declear that we will do a tile wars during the final 4, but not only that I will officially declere it as an official tile wars regional.

So everyone bring there tile wars squads to duke it out if not playing in the final 4.

My good friend Erick's baby was born late last night. Matt and I therefore won't be attending the regional this year, and instead visiting. I'm sure you all understand. Have a great time, and good luck to all competitors.

Darn. Made a critical mistake in not Force Pushing an Eschani with my 2nd activation. Had the game in control until then and Eric was able to get those shots in that took me out.

Good luck, everyone! And I definitely hate when one small mistake turns into something huge like that.

Looks like this is the squad breakdown:
3 OR
3 Rebel
2 Republic
2 Imperial
2 Sith
1 Separatist

No Vong, New Republic, or Mandos.

Sith won not ONE Regional today, but TWO! David Weeks and Tim Ballard both pulled off a Sith Victory today!
