I'm about an hour and a half NW of O'Hare. Thanks! Parking is not bad in that neighborhood by Chicago standards. But that's all relative. By that I mean you can find parking pretty much right out front that is metered, but I wouldn't suggest that. There is neighborhood parking all around that area, and you can park for free usually no more than a few blocks away. I would allow 10-15 min for parking just to be safe. As far as when registration begins - we'd have to ask Jonny to be sure. My guess is 11am is the start time, and Registration will begin around 10. I usually try and get there at 10, that way I can relax and chat with everyone. I would say to not arrive any later than 10:30. We want to start at 11 sharp. |

Thanks guys. That's pretty much what I figured but just wanted to be sure. Not 100% yet if I will be there but trying my best to make it work. If I come hopefully I can get some more people from WI to come with too. |

I'm posting this to tell people to give themselves extra time to get into the city and to warn them that lake shore drive, parts of I-55 and Roosevelt and Columbus drive will be closed due to The NATO SUMMIT. Not really a good weekend to have anything in Chicago but nothing we can do about that now. Just a warning to all who plan on coming in. Plz double check directions and look online for road closures. I hope we can still have a good turnout. |

I hope we can still have a good turnout. I usually take Lake Shore, but I think there was a way to get there by staying on the Interstate and backtracking south to the store 2 or 3 miles. Now if Ic an remember it. |

All the NATO stuff will be downtown, and the store is on the north side of the city. So I don't think it will effect anything other than some street/highway closures. Make sure to check the day of, before you leave, for street closures. My advice for anyone is to take 90/94 to the North Avenue exit Take exit 48B for North Ave 0.2 mi Turn left onto North Ave 0.2 mi Turn right onto N Ashland Ave 4.0 mi Turn right onto W Lawrence Ave 0.5 mi Take the 3rd left onto N Broadway St Continue to follow North Broadway Street Destination will be on the left 0.9 mi 5550 N Broadway Chicago, IL 60640 I live right by this exit, and this is essentially the route I take. It takes 20 minutes without traffic. Allow extra time on this day. |

ANNOUNCEMENT: Chicago TILE WARS Regional championship 2012 - will be after the Swiss Rounds of the Chicago SWM Regional. Those not in the top four, and anyone else wanting to attend are welcome! It will begin at approximately 5:00pm Sorry top 4, you'll have to sit this one out. We were going to do it after it all finished, but I think that would hurt attendance too greatly. So I really hope everyone brings a TILE WARS squad to play, and if you make the top 4 you can give it to a friend to play. Let's keep the gaming going! I will have TILES available for use. |

If you are coming from the north or West (IE Wisconsin) then take the normal route. You will not be affected. |
