I was planning on doing a Sentinel as well, but can do a Guardian just as easily. Or will enough of us have alts in the guild, that it's irrelevant at this point...

I know I'll have alts. I could even do a Consular as an alt/secondary, if that would help the guild. We'll have to see how things pan out after a few weeks. I just know that my Sentinel will be my main (and probably favorite) character. Dual-wielding has always been my favorite...it's how I roll.

just a shame Sheperd could not dual wield hehe.

Recently been trying out Sorcerer. I have to say it is a lot more engaging than I expected. A few levels past 10 and the advanced class it feels slightly like a Hybrid still, but once you hit 15 and on it is some serious caster action. Having went dps, I was still able to pull off healing in flashpoints without much issue, just have to be careful not to be wasteful on the force resource.

But it's nice to know they have fairly good ability to off heal if need be.

ok so I got an email today that i have been selected to test out the game from November 11th to the 13th. did anyone else get this and is it another mistake?

Anyways I have not really followed too much about the game so I am undecided as to whether try it out or not using the free testing.

Any advice?

its not a glitch, that is the current weekend beta group. I say try it out. Even if you don't end up playing later, you get a taste just to know what it is like. It's not a grind type MMO, much easier to put down so I wouldn't worry about addiction really.

The download can start immediately too, it can be kinda slow sometimes so if you do decided to try it, download it sooner than not just in case. It's a big batch of files.

Neat, I got an invitation as well.. now I am downloading the massive install files... it is slow.

For this weekend, yes, you're getting it free. But after this weekend it won't work anymore. Basically, if you want to play it, you'll need to buy the game and pay the monthly fee; when you buy the game it comes with 1 month of play included.
