Awesome thanks Dean, and to VA group I'm organizing the NC Regional. I need to talk with Atlanta, PA, and Owensboro but I would like to set the date for NC on April 30.

Darth_Jim is running the PA regional, and I think his is scheduled for April 30.

Yeah Jim is going on 4/30. With you guys on 5/14 I'll probably go 5/21 or 5/28 depending on which one Atlanta goes with. Don't want to fall on the same weekend as Owensboro either.

Last year we drove all the way to Racine... 5 hours >.< it wont just be great to have one in Minnesota and hopefully no higher than the cities. My groups is about 10 people who all love SWM! just wondering if it could happen is all.

Well, I believe that Regional has moved to Janesville, which is 2 hours closer than Racine. Talk to jonnyb815 for more info.

Yep, we moved Wisconsin to Jainsville in part to get it 2 hours closer to the MN group. I hope that works better for you guys this year.

Unfortunately, I was notified by my LGS that May 14 won't work. She has a big magic tournament that day. I am forced to move it to May 21. I have been promised that there will be no more changes to the date. I'm just glad we got this figured out so far in advance. Hopefully that does not conflict with NC or ATL. I will send a PM to spryguy1981 to see if he wants the 14th.

Roy

Actually ... I will be running it.

PM sent and eszul has responded. 8-) Looking forward to seeing the MN group again and hope to get some revenge for the beating I took this year. :P

Is there someone I need to talk to about who the judge will be for the Northern VA Regional Tournament? I was thinking either Ian (Jester007) or I could do it. Both of us are qualified, but does Dean or someone else need to approve this? Just curious because I would like to post the tournament information soon.

Thanks,
Roy

I am also looking at June 4th for MI. Hopefully that won't be a problem (I don't think anyone went to both lsat year). Just need to finalize that date with the LGS.

I had planned to go to both last year, and I had planned on going to both this year. Obviously, MI's is closer so that would be the default in a conflict.

Don't forget, everyone, to make sure there is a thread if you are running a Regional. Right now we only have 7 threads yet the list Dean has on the first page seems to have double that number.

Right now we're looking at the 14th. I'll be getting some stuff more set in stone within the next week or two.
