I sadly wasn't there (stupid pinched nerve and limited budget) but from everything I heard it was as great as past years, which is something to be said for a "dead" game

I know that I am really late in posting this. Please forgive. As many of you know I was promoted and have a new job that requires alot of travel. In addition, I now have a new grandchild. OK, OK. I really wanted to say how great a job Dean Miller did for leading the organizational effort at this year GenCon. I had the advantage of the infrastructure of Pastimes over the past three years, Dean did not. Despite the fact that the GenCon folks were hard to work with, he pulled it off and everyone I talked to had a great time. I got to play in one event (Dynamic Duo) and pretty much watch everyone have a great time. The judges also did a great job and the championship was a real cool event. I know that Dean is already working on 2011. Dean, your the man!! |

Yay Dean!!! It was a great experience. You and your team did a fantastic job. I look forward to more SWM at GenCon provided by you.
