I talked to Deri, and we are leaving about 1pm. Which realistically means I could be there for a meeting about 5pm. I know I'm only judging lil' old TILE WARS, so obviously your not going to set the time around my schedule. I would like to be there if possible.

You're forgetting about the time change. Indy is on EST, I don't think leaving at 1CST would there be anyway for you guys to make it by 5EST....

It's 3 hours from Chicago, barring massive traffic issues to Indy. So they should be able to make it leaving at 1 from where they live or at least be darn close anyway.

Yeah, based on my travelling to/from Chicago lately (which has been like 4 times in the past 4 months, lol) they should be able to make it to Indy in 3 driving hours pretty easily. Only thing that would cause problems, especially at that time of the day, would maybe be construction issues.

You'e right, shoot. I think we would make it to Indy by 5pm, but parking, hotel check in etc would make it hard to be at a meeting by then. Let me talk to Deri and see if we can go earlier.

Oh - and since you asked us to bring our opinions - I think it's great that community members who aren't judging this year but may want to in the future (Like Jason) are interested in coming. I would think that it would be fine if they come as silent observers. That's my2 cents.

You should be able to park somewhere, come to the meeting, and then go back to check into your hotel room I would think. Or just park somewhere, 'check-in' (just grab your room key, don't take all your stuff in), come to the meeting, then empty your car later.

Dean...any idea where this meeting will be held?

And leave Deri sitting on the curb. :)

OK- Deri's not going to work at all that day now. We plan on leaving Chicago at 11am, SO - we should be in Indy by about 3pm. I should be able to be at a meeting by at least 4pm.

Has the time and place for this been set yet?

no this year we will be going casual with the judges attire.

A nice shirt (maybe a gamers) and shorts will be fine. It is too flipping hot and the concrete floor in there is just to hard to expect folks to be dressed up.

Mom jokes, Colorado, I feel left out, and if it is in Colorado I'd be able to get there if I wasn't in Indy on that day, after all I do live there.
