Now that Mapmaker's new maps are out, we have started working on the final stage of testing for this event. It is going to be dramatically different from years past. Players will no longer be competing for points. Instead, it will be very important for players to work with their team to win the game. Individual pieces are not worth points. Instead, each side has "mission objectives" to accomplish, and the team that scores the most points through those objectives is the winner. This should improve issues we have had in the past with people waiting long intervals to take their turns, and encourage more interaction - especially given that there will be about 5-10 more people at the table than in years' past.
