With possibly many new attendees this year, I think we should have this open for people who are looking for roommates to split the bill this year. |

I'm gonna be looking for a roommate again this year, provided I am able to attend. I plan on routing my leave chit today, so hopefully I'll know by the end of the month whether I can or not |

Sorry about the double post (it's been half a month though) looks good for me being able to go, and I'm still looking for a roommate to split the bill. I can afford to pay it all if I must, but i'd rather not have to. Hoping for a few people to get together with so we can get a room in an adjacent hotel, I plan on bringing an air mattress in that case so there'd be extra room. If not, then I know a few hotels on the city outskirts we could easily get for cheap on short notice. Just send me a PM or reply here |

Looks like one in my gaming group is likely to bail on our carefully laid plans (the problem with your gaming group being family), so Shawn and I will be looking for a roommate(s) for Wed, Thurs, and Friday nights. You must be a non-smoker. The room is in the Westin RIGHT across from the convention center. My military discount got us 169$ + tax a night. I believe its a single king sized bed suite with a futon or foldout (though that has changed on us at check-in in the past). Also, on a side note, since I will be judging on Sunday I am looking for a place to stay on Saturday. Since parking is a premium I would prefer it be someone in Indy, or Kokomo (where I could just park), or anyone headed back to Chicago or Michigan and would be wiling to simply drop me off in La Porte. |

Well, my fears did indeed come true. My brother-in-law bailed on us three weeks before Gencon! Now Shawn and I are stuck with a room we really cant afford as now its 270 a piece. Really, if anyone needs a room, we get it at about 189 a night after tax and it is right across from the Convention Center. The more the merrier (and cheaper). Otherwise I don't know what we are going to do. Also now we need a teammate for Team Tournament that would be willing to work with our theme. |

Bump. We've added Lobostele, but one of his guys had to back out. We're willing to take easily a couple more. We've also been upgraded to an Executive Suite too. |
