Just got an update that the top 8 is, (not in any order). Lou, Bill, David, Gerry, Jak, Hinkbert, Trevor, and Deri. Trevor played Deri and won, so Trevor is in the top 4. |

Trevor is a great guy who spend some time giving me needed advice over the weekend. "It couldn't happen to a nicer guy", rings loud and clear with him. I've been to GenCon 3 times before, but never even entered in the championship match. I'm well aware of my skills and dice luck. Gerrry,darphnader, convinced by pointing out that I'd play more swiss rounds than a smaller tourny. My dice were normal(great for me)and I tried not to make any mistakes that cost me the game.Played for fun, like I always do.I didn't worry about the final outcome.I realize that EVERYBODY on Gamers and Bloo. were surprised to see me in the top 8. God knows nobody was more surprised than me. Thanx to all my SWM friends who encouraged, and rooted for me. It was the best GenCon ever!  Maybe even a Karma Con  I came crashing back to reality as I was cleaning the litter box this morning  peace Jak |

Both you and Nader have stepped up your game and will continue to be top 8 contenders. |
