Gamers, I need your help for next year's GenCon (2012). Recently I have received a nomination to be an ENnie Judge... http://www.ennie-awards.com/blog/?page_id=2228 ...but in order to be selected, it requires a popular vote. That's where you all can help. An ENnie Judge basically reviews all of the gaming products released every year and selects the various nominees for each of the ENnie Awards. http://www.ennie-awards.com/blog/?page_id=2156 The ENnies are a great way to recognize excellence in the gaming industry and keep art and love of gaming fostering. I truly appreciate your support! If any of you could/would vote for either me (Richard "Brev" Tanner Jr) or my friend, Katherine Boulware, the voting starts on July 15th and ends on July 24th. Make sure while you're voting for either Kat or me, you vote also for your favorite nominees for the various awards. (Is that Chris West I see in there?) I'd like to urge our community to throw its weight behind Brev on this one. It isn't just a case of 'vote for Brev 'cuz he's one of us'. Brev does have a storied history playing RPGs, particularly Star Wars Saga. He is certainly qualified to be a judge, and I think it would be great if we helped him get there. Personally, I'd vote for both if I could and would not hesitate to vote for her if Brev wasn't nominated. Kat has extensive RPG experience and has hosted 'Game On!', a D20 podcast. Maybe this is a way to finally get Brev to come to GenCon...remember, these nominations are for judges for 2012. |

I've seen the mans closet (not the one he needs to come out of) and its loaded with games/gaming material. He's not just a huge Star Wars fan but a huge gamers as well. He'd do our community proud! |
