As a loyal American citizen and veteran, I can not stand for the accolades recieved by Team Canada at last years Gencon Team Tournament. Therefore, I am recruiting a team of loyal American veterans for this year's tournament.

So:

If you're an American Veteran and Patriot.(Unlike Team Canada's third member, Philip Carlisle ;) )

Feel you are equitable in skill level with Eric Frost, Trevor Payton, or Philip Carlisle.

Want to play in this year's Team Tournament

Would be willing to glue an American flag (from plastic army men) to your squad's major piece.

And realize that this post is in jest, but our victory will not!

Then post your interest and years of service here and I will make my selections

I, Trevor Payton, actually have dual-citizenship, so I'm American as well as Canadian (though born in Canada, and currently living there).

And I also consider myself almost equal to Trevor Payton in skill level. In fact, I always seem to know what he's planning, so I have an advantage when we play against each other. The only thing is, he usually wins because he lives in Canada. We got into the game around the same time, and we have a similar amount of experience.

Could I play for Team America while he plays for Team Canada? :D

Didn't meet that requirement. Sorry.

Gotta have some limitations to make it fair for Team Canada. Otherwise I could just take Dean Miller but then we'd have to change the name from Team America to Auto-Win! :D ;)

My skill level:
vs Alvey (0-3)
vs Boris (0-1)
vs the Godfather (1-1) left out all the auto-losses he took

Chance of me making it to Gencon this year:
Roughly equal to pulling off a good strafe with a Clone on BARC Speeder

So no playing help here.

But, I will happily glue American Flags to my entire army of Ewoks as a show of support to Team America and use my Rush 2112 cd as a coaster for my ice cold PBR on the day of the tourney.

Scatch the second part - I like Rush way too much. I will use an Alanis Morrisette disc instead. :P

yes I am Canadian Krypotonite.

2009 vs Trevor 1-0

2010 vs Eric 1-0

Followed by neither of them making top 8 after the loss. Seems to be a trend there huh? I am guessing that if faced with a choice this year neither of them will want to play me.

By the way I am not sure I am totally American because I am more Sith and Texan.

If you need a team to beat bill, dean, and Matt I got that covered. Team canada beat my team in the final, but do not worry we have a secret weapon this year.

No. You don't get Ricky.

All of this is moot anyway, because Team ATL is planning on bringing the pain this year. And by that I mean we are going to be kicking our opponents under the table as hard as we can to distract them. We're sure to win!

You're an East Coast Ghost, David. Like it or not.

I think I just lost a little bit of respect for you, Dave. Alanis Morrisette? REALLY?

Its probably a good thing you are more Sith than Texan, Dean, cause from what Ive heard, they only have two things in Texas...and from the pictures of you that I've seen, you 'aint got no horns'.

No offense meant to people of that persuasion. Offense meant towards people who like Alanis Morrisette, lol.

Oh I got it alright. But to use the cd as a coaster, one must OWN the cd to begin with. That's what I was shocked about, lol.

Geez you know That joke is old. But to freshen it up I think you should (next time in texas or just take a trip there) speed by a Texas DPS officer (Read a state trooper but in Texas they answer to no one not even the Federal Government). Once he has you pulled over tell him that joke. See how it works out for you. I am thinking you wont be able to share the story with anyone for at least 35 years as that is the minimum sentence for assaulting a police officer in the state. Sadly Texans will be sitting on the jury too.... so hell you could get the death penalty. :DSBoom:
