Ok guys right now my LGS is selling all of its RPG (except D&D 4.0 ) at 50% off.

So anyone in need of a core book can get with me about picking it up for you. Basically I would need you to paypal me $24 if you want it. Dont worry about shipping I can get that. The $4 extra is for tax. But I can check before you send it because it may be like $22.

Anyways I dont know if you can find them cheaper on ebay or Amazon but I am just throwing that out there for anyone interested. I dont know how long it will last but I will make sure it is still going on before anyone sends me money.

Wow, that sounds like a good deal. Even Amazon can't beat that price. Wife and I are heading to town, but I will get back to you on that one.

Thanks for the heads up!

I am not sure what other books and they are closed now I think. I will call tommorrow or monday I know that that they have 2 core books.

I am going to also check online and see if their online store is offering the same deal.

Nope they are full price online as I figured.

I did find out they have

2 Core Books - around 20 after 50%
2 Force Unleashed books - around 20 after 50%
1 Threats of the Galaxy book - around 17 after 50%

If there is still one available at that price, and it's not too much trouble to acquire, could you pm me with where I should send the paypal? Thanks.

Don I need confirmation you want the books.

Let me know because I have another wanting them and right now you have dibs on the 2nd core book.

So talk to me.

Tirade has book 1

Anyone wanting the other FU book chime in too if they wish.

Not to derail this thread or anything, but if anyone is interested in acquiring the Legacy Era or TFU books Miniature Market is selling them for $12 and they have like 100 each Yikes! I don't have any of these books, but that seems like a really good deal along with what Dean is doing with the core book.

Got the book yesterday. The wife and I are excited to start going over the book. I'm a sucker for Jedi and Force Adept characters, are there any other books you recommend? Legacy, Force Unleashed, KotOR and/or something else?

if you can get your hands on the KOTOR book for retail get it.

It is a great book and right now the average going price for it is $170 (no that is not mistyped it is 170)

Same for Starships of the Galaxy (Around $100 now)

If you can find those at your LGS or book store grab them.

Glad everyone got their books it is a great system and you will love it.

Not to derail this thread even further......

If anyone wants to buy the Force Unleashed Campaign Guide or the Legacy Campaign Guide go to one of my favorite websites:

http://www.wholesalegaming.com/rpg/

They have Force Unleashed Campaign Guide for 8$....yeah you read correct....8$. :D

You can also get the Legacy Campaign Guide for 10$. 8-)

So just in case anyone wanted to get those books for a good price, wholesalegaming.com is the place to go. I've been going to them for 8 years now to get Star Trek CCG and Star Wars CCG cards and card holders/sheets and they are a very good company and give you good quality stuff in a timely manner. If anyone wants the Attack on Endor SWM packs you can get 6 of them for 30$. I'm halfway tempted to add another AT-ST to my collection for that price. Their selection isn't huge, but they have stuff for lots of games. Its always good to check them out every once in a while to see if they got anything new added.

All said and done its a good way to get the other books in addition to the Star Wars RPG Saga Edition books Dean's FLGS is selling.

Don't see myself spending $170 on an RPG book. Of course I do remember flipping through the book back when stores used to have it in stock. So I am kicking myself atm. As for the Starships of the Galaxy book, I could really care less. Not my cup of tea. I'm more interested in the character side, not the ships.
