If you guys have a large enough play-group in order to host a Regional, there must be somebody in the area who would be qualified to judge. Did any of your players make it to GenCon last year? I know one of Dean's requirements is that the judge be someone who he is familiar with, and who he knows is a knowledgeable enough player to do a good job as a judge. So, if it were someone who made it to GenCon the last couple years, there'd be a better chance that Dean will know that person, and that might help. Otherwise, I would seriously start trying to touch base with the other semi-local playing groups. I know there's a couple of other groups in the New Jersey area. If that doesn't pan out, start putting out feelers to the groups in PA and WV and see if any of them are planning to travel up to your event. Perhaps entice someone to come judge by offering some compensation, like a couple of boosters or something. |

I only wish it were closer. Sundays are much better for me personally, but it's a 13 hour drive - so still a no-go unfortunately. |
