Quick Play Summary: So, I ran GMLS and Han GH. My strategy was incredibly simple: Sit and hide for a few rounds until I had ~8 force point on Luke, then go for the 3 point win with an all out charge. I found it generally easy to hide in gambit thanks to activation control with dodonna and Han and Luke's defensive abilities. My mistakes were made on my attack. I generally aimed for the quick kill as opposed to the smartest kill (for example, I killed a vulnerable Arica as opposed to going after Cad Bane who was my real threat). Anyways, I went 3-2 with a bye.
A few highlights that may not have already been mentioned:
1. We had 7 players from the Charlotte NC area, and 2 from Columbia SC. I think the "southern region" has really grown.
2. Big thanks to Nick Sterns who drove all the way from New Orleans to Judge and hang out!!!
3. Chuck bought pizza and donated some serious prize prize support.
4. David Weeks fiancée (Ryn) was the the sole girl in the tourney. She played Mandos and despite her pink and purple Caamasi Nobles, he was a really challenging opponent: My Luke GM barely survived with 10 HP.
Well, next up Gencon!
