Jackson St. Ste. F Kokomo, IN 46901 (765) 868-8330 Time - Registration to start at 9 EST First round 10 am EST - Lunch after the first two rounds are complete. With three rounds after lunch then the playoffs. The format wll be 200pt DCI Constructed using the restricted map list. There will be a cut to a top four playoff round to determine the winner. Interesting. The start time I got in my email notification for Facebook and this one are different, albeit only slightly. I got the impression from FB that it would begin at 9. Likely then, I will make this, just in case, to give myself some extra time, who will be the TO for this event so that we can forward our registration info to them that morning? |

That's a 730(or earlier) leave time for us here in La Porte but I plan on "preregistering" by sending the store owner our info prior to leaving that morning. Of course, any of you Chicago crew are more than welcome to crash on the various couches or downstairs (though that might be cold depending on weather) the night before and ride down that morning. |

But I understand. We're looking at 5 rounds of Swiss, plus a short lunch break, probably, plus 2 rounds of the playoffs. Once you add in an extra hour or so to account for people finishing their final round, time to do pairings, etc., you're looking at 8-9 hours for the whole event. Starting at 10am means you finish be about 7, just in time for dinner. |

Much appreciated offer. Unfortunately I will be working until about midnight the night before. Probably wouldn't work coming down that late that night. It's back to the tough decision of taking off FRIDAY night as well as Saturday night (If I can even get off either), or waking up (insanely) early in the morning after working late. We'll see how Chicago goes. |

Trust me I have traveled to both Owensboro and Cincy to either judge or play. So I get it. I guess the vibe I got from playing at various placed is that most people tend to come the night before find a place to stay, then head home after it is all said and done. |
