So I got a casr of Starship Battles trying to get ready for Eric's new ruleset. It arrives today and what is in it??? Only the greatest pulls ever of one SSb case.


Huge Ships!!!!!!

Trade Federation Battleship
Mon Cal MC80
Republic Assault Ship
Trade Federation Droid Control Ship
Imperial Star Destroyer
Banking Clan Frigate


You cannot beat that no matter how you see it!!!!


Then to top it off I got another Trade Federation Battleship off Ebay for a $1

I don't think I ever managed to get more than one of the Republic Assault Ships. Only ever had 2 or 3 of the ISDs as well. Actually, I don't really remember what I have, since they haven't been out of their storage case in....what, probably 2 years? :lol:

Looking forward to trying out Engineer's new ideas though.

yeah back in the day when i first collected them I never and mean never had pulls like that. I dont know what the crap happened.

I have been at this now two months (recollecting)

So far I have

4 ISDs
3 Trade Federation Battleships
4 Banking clan Frigates
2 Droid Control Ships
3 Republic Assault Ships
4 Mon Cal MC 80s
2 Interdictor Cruisers

I really cannot complain at this point.

There was a time when I thought Republic Assualt Ships (acclimators) were uncommons because I had pulled four of them to my one ISD.

I convinced the owner of our LGS to purchase some cases and stock SSB because of Eric's work on the new rules. I bought my first 2 boosters from him today and I have to say... the collector in me is all giddy with excitement over opening these things. In one booster I pulled Luke Skywalker's X-Wing and, in the other, I got a Republic Assault Ship and Anakin Skywalker's Jedi Interceptor (2 rares in one booster? kick ass). Maybe not the greatest pulls of all time but, for me, they were awesome. I have so little SSB right now and every booster I open feels like Christmas. It's like when I first got into SWM.

So thanks, Eric, for putting your time and effort into making this a playable game. It's reminded me of why I fell in love with SWM in the first place.
