I see this topic is dead but i was wondering if any decision was ever made? I really hope u name a specific mini to represent the new card, to keep down on confusion.
I have added this to a different thread but just thought i would repeat it here. Has any thought been put into the confusion that will be caused by making new none unique characters? I threw out the suggestion of color coding the bases. I know u guys do not want to have to do anything to the figures but that may not be possible for generics, but as long as it is kept simple i think it would work. A system like heroclix, where color used to equal rank, might work. Maybe white would be rookie, blue would be vets or experienced, red would be commanders/leaders and leave the base normal for your WOTC printed card. You could use a dot of paint on the base, paint the ring around the base or get small stickers dots and just mark your bases so u could change them the next time u play (i think u can pick these up at office supply stores). A visible mark would really help on those figures that are very similiar like jawas and many non-uniques.
A mark may be good for new versions of old characters as well, green dot means that Luke is a virtual figure or for none unique turned into a unique, that yellow dot Imperial Knight is now virtual Gunnar. These colors could be standard and part of the new virtual set rules. Just some thoughts i had, thanks for what u guys are doing.
