Other variations could just give her heal 20, take away the save of 6, or the extreme variant:

Grafting (replaces turn; Defeat one adjacent living ally and remove 50 damage from another adjacent living ally)

That last one would be fun with Vong

Something to give those legions of commons we have a little boost maybe. Seems like a simple enough idea anyway.

I was figuring on something specific for Peace Brigade guys. Sorta like the buff Niles gave to Defels. something more specific.

But I think your onto something better. I think for something like that Civil Uprising CE to be balanced there would need to be an evaluation for what falls into the point range. Or it could simply be made just for Fringe non unique allies, which gives it more limitation. What about a base 10 damage requirement instead of point cost or is that a bit much? There are plenty of CE's that do similar things statwise so at least it couldn't stack with those outright.

I orginally wrote that up as fringe and the edited to all as there are cheap faction specfic figures that could use the boost but I think fringe only fits theflavor better... I thought about a +4/+4 +10 if the squad contains only fringe. I would love to unleash some of the scrubs I have sitting on a shelf. I wrote it as a ce so it would not affect droids.

actually I wouldn't mind some sort of fringe CE for droids either, nothing major but something that doesn't make you feel obligated to play Seps to use various droids. Some sort of minor attack bonus or granting them an ability like Cunning or something

To help rebel troopers, a Leia with these perhaps:

Immediate Trooper Reserves 20 If you roll exactly 5, 10, 15, or 20 for initiative, you can add up to 20 points of Trooper characters from this character's faction you your squad, adjacent to this character, immediately before your first activation of the round

High Profile This character is not granted cover from characters or low objects

Rapport Allies named Rebel Trooper cost 1 less when in the same squad as this character

Commander Effect Allies named Rebel Trooper with line of sight to this character gain +3 attack, +3 Defense, and Avoid Defeat. Adjacent allies named Rebel Trooper gain Bodyguard

My sincerest apologies if any of these have been mentioned before:


A Bothan Spy Chief, with a CE making Bothan Spys useful - Bothan Spys gain Cloaked and Recon, perhaps?

A Fringe Mandalorian Mercenary Leader to represent the free-roaming Mandalorian Mercs that various factions would hire in KotOR - with Affinity for Mandalorian Blaster-for-Hires and Mandalorian Bounty Hunters, and perhaps a CE to boost them in some way?

A Fringe Combat Engineer with a Special Ability (Combat Refit, perhaps?) allowing allies with Mounted Weapon to lose Rigid and gain Stable Footing for the remainder of the game.

Some ordinary Spaarti Clone Troopers - 4pt or 5pt grunts, similar to the Spaarti Clone Trooper Demolitionist (but without Satchel Charges), to allow the Republic squads to field larger numbers of cheap Clone grunts.

A new Clone Trooper Sergeant (possibly Veteran Clone Trooper Sergeant?) with a CE that would actually be useful against the Droid opponents that they would thematically be facing.

G0-T0 from KotOR II.

A new, improved version of HK-47, allowing him to stand above the HK-50s (HK-47, Assassin Droid?).

A generic Czerka Executive, with a CE/Special Ability giving non-unique Droids and Mercenaries some sort of boost, or perhaps even increasing the range of other Czerka Special Abilities?

A Rebel Sniper, similar to the Rebel Marksman but more likely to see play.

A Yuuzhan Vong Bodyguard Leader, with a CE/Special Ability allowing nearby Yuuzhan Vong Warriors to gain Bodyguard.

Darth Wyyrlock, perhaps with Sith Sorcery, Illusion and a CE allowing Darth Krayt to spend his Force Points, or maybe even something similar to Booming Voice (to represent his role as Krayt's regent and voice)?

Darth Maladi, probably with something along the lines of Poison and/or Force Corruption.

A generic One Sith Overlord (from the Legacy comics) with Affinity for non-unique Imperials (and perhaps Veed and Calixte) to allow a more thematic One Sith Empire squad.

A generic Sith Scientist (in the same vein as Vul Isen from the Legacy comics), perhaps with a CE/Special ability granting allies Poison, or some sort of nasty attack similar to Kohoun Infestation?

A Nute Gunray who isn't a complete liability; perhaps also with Affinity for Darth Sidious Hologram?

I know that there was a discussion for the Yammosk that wanted to be a one of a kind but not a Unique.

So, I am sure something probably got put up as a suggestion but I was thinking about this ability:

Territorial: Your squad may contain only one of these units at the start of the skirmish.

This may help when you get a betrayal by a similar unit.

Just watched new TCW episode:
Clan mother of the Dathomiri Witch clan. Synergy with Nightsister Sith Witches and Assaj (?). Cannot be in a squad with Dooku? Give allied force users a special force ability (force cloaked?).

That was a fun episode, but to keep the ability thematic make it a start of the game ability that she can use on a limited number of allies with a force rating. More night sisters would be awesome ( Sly Moore,Guri, Komari Vosa, Mistryl Shadow Guard, Maris Brood, Rancor with rider,etc.) or Dathamir Witches (Force Adept, Jarael, etc.)

Fire control SA on a fringe piece. Make non-sep droids more attractive, but not help seps at all. Cost accordingly: 12-15 point?

people already play non sep droids more than any sep droid. Thats why they made 00m-9
