Hey guys I will be unavailable to play for most if not all of this month, I am housesitting in a place with dial-up and then I have to take care of a relative after their surgery for a while as well.

Dean, you can count my no-shows as whatever you think is most balanced.

Round 4

R5Don4 vs. Joelker

R5 wins by default as per above quote Joel will not be available for the next month.

I guess I win too, since Joelker is my Round 5 opponent.

Don't jump the gun. Those games may not have to be forfeited. I've been waiting almost a month to play a game.

But see, that's the thing (and maybe even the problem with how the league is going): I don't want to wait a month to play a game.
Really, Dean doesn't have to enter the win-by-default until the last of the Round 5 games are finished anyway...but once they are, then as per Joelker's own statement, I'll get a win-by-default.

Well seeing as how I am paired against Gurneywars in round 5 as well I'm fine with just splitting the difference and taking a win and a loss just to keep the league moving. If he is cool with that, I mean.

Round 6
Bill vs SithAssassin

Bill wins 213 - 142

No way I should have won this one, but the dice turned on Rick about mid game, and his second charging, ICed, cunning +20 twin with +4 attack failed him multiple times.

We agreed to play with a time limit. Gurneywars beats FlyingArrow 82-77. His well-placed bodyguard (Ferus Olin) spread the damage out enough that I couldn't get the necessary kills in time.

But everyone was damaged enough that we decided to play it out unofficially anyway. It didn't take all that much longer. In the end, my AniCoN's twin djem so was too much for his Darth Sidious. Sidious' triple attack on AniCoN ended up in Sidious' own death with 4 hits, 1 miss, and 1 crit from the djem so's. Although unofficial, it was my first win in this tournament so that was fun. Unofficial result: 222-156 FlyingArrow. (Btw... the time limit was my idea.)

Again, offical result is:

Gurneywars 82
FlyingArrow 77

obikenobi1 defeats kenred2 in 200pt game on Death Star map.

Bad placement of Ken's Imperial Sovereign protector led to his early demise as all manner of shooters took aim at the tempting target and destroyed him. His imperial soverign protector did hold the door open long enough for a razor bug to kill a hapless rodian trader who had just so graciously handed out medical supplies to a wandering human scout just before his death. The game came to a stand still when we tried sorting out the fact that my ARC Sniper had los to a unit of his in the gambit zone. The ARC also scored a solid hit on his antarian ranger early on also due to bad placement and lack of knowledge that ARC Snipers are just as accurate as they are snipers. Durge went down when he tried rushing a group of shooters, due to some lucky hits by my Commando Droid Captain, who is the MVP of the game for me, since he dealt out a ton of damage and got some gambit points also. Captain Mar Tuuk proved his worth again and again by surviving and allowing great tempo control.

Despite the bad placement early on, Ken played well. Good game!

Echo vs. Boris

Boris wins it. Got his whole squad to 40 HP or less, but close doesn't count except for horseshoes and hand grenades, lol. Good game

Confirmed, well played. A couple of dice rolls and the game could have gone totally different (I remember you rolling a pair of back-to-back 1's, never a good thing).

FlyingArrow 205 - LoboSteele 111

Luke Legacy was the star of this one, hitting IG-88 for 60 damage over the course of the game, and also dealing another 100 damage or so to other pieces.

Confirmed. FlyingArrow made the shots when it counted, and I missed a lot of key attacks here and there that really hurt me. All said and done though, his Stealth and CE synergy proved too much for me to handle.

obikenobi1 defeats Boba52 in Round 5 game on Death Star

A very fun game! Chris played very well despite bad init rolls in the beginning. Doombot proved just how plucky a little droid can be and zoomed around the map towing the senate commando around. I managed to kill his Genoharadan by towing the commando close enough for a double, which really helped my guys out a ton! The Mando scout proved annoying, and I never once the entire game made an evade save. Mar Tuuk proved to be invaluable again, giving the Senate commando a chance to escape the clutches of Vader. Plagius in usually fashion started corrupting my guys, killing Gree and an couple others and proving a pain in general since his minis just would NOT die! It was a close game in the end. Vader took out some good shooters and left me with not much else to kill stuff with. I got lucky with my last initiative, having my Senate commando finish of the pesky plagius before he could move away again and support the murderous vader. Good game bro! Hope the rest of the vassal league goes well for you.

Confirmed. Was brutal. I lost all 3 inits when using Anticipation. I couldn't hit his 10hp scrubs for the anything. Somewhere in the middle I gave up and positioned Plagueis so if I won init I could corrupt 3 and take out 4 of his guys. He rolls 9 for init and I roll 8 then ant gives me a 6. The final init he rolls 2 and them me....1. Wow! Obi took great advantage of his 30 damage shooters with comb fire. Was fun. I actually managed to bring Vader and Wicket back from the dead, so that was fun.
