I just got mine and haven't had a chance to read it yet (I was too busy going through my minis).

I'm really excited about this book, though.

My response to this book on finding out that Chiss were allowable:

"I hear hundreds of PCs scream out and suddenly go silent.... because they were trashed due to the players changing to Chiss characters."

I'm so behind on buying the new RPG books, lol. Last one I bought was KotOR after GenCon. So I'm, what, 4 behind? TFU, S&V, CW, and now LotF? That's a total of $140 if I were to buy them retail. Ugh, that sucks. If only the books weren't so expensive =o/

Amazon has quite a few "used" versions of the books. For example, Scum and Villiany is going for 20 bucks currently. Also, remember some of the major book stores offer 10% discount with coupons after spending a certain amount.

My LGS offers a 20% discount on RPG books to people who play games at the store.

That sucks. I know a lot of stores that don't do discounts and think MSRP is the required selling price.

Needless to say I don't shop at those places unless there is just no other choice (and there almost always is).

If nothing else, Amazon is a great website for all things media in bulk, and this site has some great sponsors for all things gaming. :)
