Post subject:  Is GVL a thing of the past?
It just seems to me that with the virtual sets coming out every 6 months, the people who ran the GVL are probably too busy to run another GVL. Is there any hope in the future that we will have another round of epic vassal league play? I know I'd love to have another since we have all these new V-set peices to play with. I hope this old Mando'a warrior will not be forever resigned to seeing his signature and thinking of the good ol days. :) :Boba: :jango:

It was Fool who ran the GVL, back in the day, and he's not around here much anymore. It went well for 3 seasons, and then momentum seemed to die down in the middle of the 4th season.

I think it's cool that people still have their GVL team logos in their signatures, though. I plan to keep mine for a long time, because it reminds me of how much fun I had in the GVL.

Every now and again, I think about running an online league.. but there is a lot of work required to run it and I really don't have the time. Plus, its tough to develop a rule set that results in a fun and balanced way to play. I've got some thoughts.. but it will probably have to wait for now.

Their was a team league on runboard.
